We wanted the pictures, so lets be honest about that. Come on, Holly and John Daly? I even mentioned that to my wife, who only casually knows who Holly is from my watching GC (JD transcends golf) and she said she would watch the two of them in a tournament. I wonder how Holly did, and is doing. She knows everyone is eyes on her on this, and you can tell from the pictures she has her game face on. I doubt she wanted to embarrass herself out there.

Holly plays off a 7 handicap and her team gross was -1 and team net was -4. Her partner, the big JD, shot level par so she obviously contributed at least a few shots. The current leader from a net standpoint is -12 so she's 8 shot backs after 1 round.

Thanks -- so she can still play. Cool. I don't imagine that she's getting 18 holes in every afternoon, so keeping at a legit 7 is pretty solid indeed.

On Morning Drive today they were talking about her ability to recover from hitting a bad shot. Advice I know would help me a lot. She probably hits balls/plays more than what you'd think. She's getting regular lessons from Martin Hall and on the "Playing Lessons" show. Her swing is actually pretty solid. Think her putting could use some effort but tee to green she looks good.

In no way am I complaining about this thread and I have mentioned numerous times how much I appreciate your work and effort. But let's just be honest here... She has her own thread for one reason and one reason only, it has nothing to do with clubs, the course or her swing . If that was the "reason" for the thread then her playing partners should also have their own thread.

While I agree that members should not be crossing the line with their comments, some of this has to be expected.
