Going to PHX/Scottsdale in March and looking for some course recommendations. I’ve played a handful before but open to trying a few new courses this trip.

Courses I’ve already played are: Biltmore, Boulders, Troon Monument, Wekopa saguaro and cholla, Wildfire.

Any others besides those would be great. We are non residents so we’d be paying the non-res rate. Unless anyone has any suggestions to get around that image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />. Looking for green fees < $250. Thanks in advance!

Depends on how far you'd like to drive as well.

You could go to Southern Dunes or Wickenburg Ranch, which are thought of highly.

+1 to Wickenberg and Southern Dunes

    As well, I would recommend

Grayhawk Raptor (plus dinner at Phil's Grill),

    Quintero (worth the trip),

Seven Canyons (couple of hours up to Sedona but also good),

    TPC Stadium or Champions, and

    Talking Stick O'dham.

And if you have not played Troon North Pinnacle and Boulders South then put them in.

Also have a look at the Troon Card as it can be worthwhile especially the 2-for-1 deals. Saved us heaps.

Pretty good run down, and some savings tips as well. Hint Karsten and the Phoenecian will not be on the list.

Played southern dunes last week for the first time. Also from out of state, but I have played both We-ko-pa courses and Troon courses and I'd rank Southern Dunes 2nd of the 5. But it is a good drive south.

I also only paid $90 which is a steal and makes the drive worth it.

Played SunRidge Canyon while a lot of courses were over seeding in October and thought it was pretty nice. Would play that again over TPC
