do all the guys who play the Apex Pro raw use the two dot versions? never seems to be pics of the hosels.
I love how many pros play Stroke Lab putters with WH inserts. Odyssey would make a killing if they went back to that with the next release or at least make it an option.
Their actually looks to be decent pics of the 8i hosel but it just looks blank. I would guess that yes, most of them are. However, Xander's are even more custom I think. The double dot still has a dot under all of the club numbers and Xander has traditional numbering.
I would almost guess that his are the prototype that they used before they created the double dot. As far as I remember, he was the first to be gaming these. Hard to tell without side by side photos but the muscles look thick and the offset looks minimal. I haven't seen any single dots raw irons on forums or ebay but there have been a decent amount of double dot raw offerings.
Agree, they should make their old inserts optional or high priced via a custom shop. I would pay obscene amounts of money for this putter with a Metal X insert. He also has a straight line for the alignment rather than the three dots which I also drool over. Oh to be a tour player and get whatever you want.
There isn't a single tour player that has the regular Apex Pro heads. They all either use last year's Single Dot or this years newer Double Dot.
Is that #7 the small version?
Taylormade M2 (10.5*)
TEE CBX (16.5*)
Callaway Apex (20*)
Srixon Z 785 (4-6) Z-Forged (7-PW)
Cleveland RTX-4 (50*/56*/60*)
Taylormade Spider X
boy would I pay a ton for a set of single dot raw heads
That low bounce k though....
Also, is Cally charging extra for those headcovers? Crap those things are huge.
That's what she said.
Definitely looks like the bigger version. I'd do a lot of things to get me one just like that... LOL

Bb shaft in black, had no idea
I totally agree, white hot insert with a solid alignment line. Or a two ball with a solid line alignment
I need that k grind low bounce in my life!
I love my WW low bounce K grind. What’s the difference between one dot two dot on the apex? loft differences?
Saw something interesting in the highlights on the PGA tour highlights. He uses a triple track ball, but also has a hand drawn line on his ball, which he seemed to use. I wonder why he has a triple track ball if he doesn't seem to use this feature?
always love seeing what Xander has in the bag

Saw this yesterday too, so much for the advantage I guess? If I had to guess its probably a tour only Chrome Soft X that only comes in triple track. but it is funny to not even try to use it.
From my research, it's just more of the same that the one dot brings. A touch less offset, maybe 1 more groove, thinner top line, thicker muscle. I think the blade length doesn't increase as much throughout the set. Touch taller face.
Maybe he just likes the logo more. It's kind of old school cool looking without the chevron.
