Lower price on PXG 0211

I was looking this morning and noticed the price reduction on PXG irons. I’ve always liked the design of the PXG 0211 for several reason:

1) longer blade length heel to toe

2) progressive set design

3) 431 cast so softer than most cast clubs

4) foam filled for better sound and feel

5) MMT graphite shafts as stock option same price as steel

I really want to order a set, but would like to hear some feedback. Other set I’m considering is HMB but at less than half the price the 0211 irons seem like the better choice. Any feedback from you guys who have had the, or are playing them now?

How do you like them?

I went from HMBs to the 0311p gen2 and couldn’t be happier. 
 

A touch longer, a touch lower spin, noticeably more forgiving, and feel/sound 100x better. 
 

The gen2 0311 line is 149 a club right now. I know it’s more in line with the HMBs price point, but I think you will be happy in the long run having the big boys, even if they are the prior year models. 
 

That said, the 0211 at 89 a club is great too. You are only missing out on a bit of feel is my understanding.

XF, then 0211, then P.  Of course shaft can also help with that as well.

The 0211 are designed to be a cast (therefore cheaper to make) version of the original 0311s, so they have more offset than the new 0311p gen2, and launch a bit higher than the gen2 0311p. 
 

for me, feel is so big, and the 0311p feel out of this world. Also absurdly consistent and forgiving for their thin sole/blade length. I hear great things about the 0211s, people love them. I just know coming from t-mb to mizzy hmb to the 0311p gen 2 I’ve gotten better feel and more forgiveness. 
 

Not at all discouraging the 0211s, but if the HMBs are in your price range, I feel the 0311p gen2 beats it in every facet of the bag (feel, forgiveness, and consistency)
