Fake mizuno mp62s?

Hi all, I've recently bought some mizuno clubs off that and an excited about trying them out.

I'm not going to lie they're not in great condition with a bit of rust in the cavity which I knew about and am going to fix myself.

The only thing I'm worried about is some bumps on the club face. It almost looks s bit like soldering on them. Not sure if this is normal or not so was hoping people who have had mizunos before may enlighten me please?

Only way to know for sure is to compare with a known authentic part. To me that looks like the plateing is starting to come off.

Need to see Size of Mizuno font and all markings on rest of the club.Bought fake mp57 once Feel was so different from club to club.Then font was wrong.Your face pic shows its had long time in damp storage.

Yeah I'm a bit gutted really, saved up for these as been playing my old pings for ages.

I've attached a picture of the markings, and does seem to be the chrome plating is coming off a bit. Would this likely affect the feel of the clubs?

Call mizuno with the serial number on the hosel

I did, too old for them to confirm without me posting them to them

They look real to me, just poorly taken care of. You’ll know as soon as you hit a few good ones whether they’re real or not. Buttery feel of mizunos is unmistakable.

these are not fake mate but 12 years old and not taken care of that well. The material on the face is pretty superficial. Just get a green scotch brite pad and softly scrub to remove. Always wipe them down after your practice or round of golf. Don't leave them wet or damp in your car or garage. They are forged irons so will ding up and wear much more then a Cast iron( Your old pings)
