David is certainly crafting tremendous putters. I really like the One with Pocket design! I am not so much into the snow but that putter style is very nice. I really like the Copper SoftTail! Great purchase!!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

The Mills Co. had a great show and would like to thank everyone for coming by the booth.

If you purchased a putter, headcover, t-shirt, ballmarker or whatever, WE would like to say a huge "Thank You". Without the support of the folks on the forums, our jobs would be a lot tougher.

I was bummed by the time I made it over on Friday there was only two leftys left, both tour issue. The heavier of the two had a rust spot which kind of spooked me. I really wanted to see some Softtails there.

They had a great booth. Everyone was friendly and David was there every time I passed by, shows that he really cares about his creations. Here is my putter I got at the show, I was gonna sell it when I got home because the wife didn't like it so much, but couldn't bring myself to do it.

Keep in mind that these putters were made for the show. Generally a putter with "bling" is going to sell at the show. I also prefer a more muted putter but there is something about some of these stamps that is appealing to me.

I understand where you're coming from with "busy". I personally don't like things overdone either. I see these Mills' differently though. They are all handstamped which is one of the main reasons I bought a 1310 MUD Soft Tail. They have all been attended to by one man. David Mills has his name on the putter and he has done all the work. There are Very Very few putter makers whom that can be said about.

I love t.p mills putters and for some reason, his stampings just "work." There is usually a lot going on but everything seems to compliment the putter well.

I will use T.P mills putters for a long time.

Having read a lot of WITB's of users on a couple different forums & knowing that T.P.'s been around a while, it was nice to finally see what all the hubub's about. I have to 100% agree with herd's post...acid-trippin' Cameron, for sure. I like most of Cameron's work & particularly like the milled letters and the amazing finishes he uses (Black Pearl, the Teryliums, & my Lord the Damascus Steel putters were incredible) but all the hand stamping is just clutter and looks too grade-school to me.

Personally, I buy what I can afford to play & not just stare at, so I've yet to pick up a S.C., preferring to play my Kirk Curries, which to me are immaculate in hand milling and are handled by either Kirk or Rick (the owners) from start to finish. I do like the one piece head & hosel design but also prefer the adjustability of the 2 pc design of most KC's & they're far more affordable and 'clean' My avatar reflects my prototype Copper Brazos that puts like a dream.

I prefer the Betti's Scotty's and of course KC's to the T.P.'s. Thanks for the pics to confirm that I'm happy with what I got! I'm sure the T.P.'s putt great but they're definitely not for me....I do dig the copper 'soft tail' but could do without the 'black snow' dots and the Harley rip-off name black%20eye.gif
