And if you would’ve invested in that company instead of whining about the price of the phones, you would be sitting pretty today.

So to answer your question or try to answer it the best I can, I was very excited and nervous to test these New 0311ST’s out, never hit a blade, playing the 0311P model and I’m a 6 handicap. After my fitting I was so confident hitting these that I pulled the trigger and literally just got them. Turn around was basically 5 business day and I’m in Toronto.

I’m playing the 0311P with X100 and found that they tended to over draw on some occasions and when I tested the 0311ST with the same shaft I found I was hitting lower in the face and still going more left than I wanted. Surprising, hitting lower in the face didn’t affect performance all that much. Lost 1 MPH of ball speed, trajectory was the same and carry distance was pretty much the same.

When I tried the 0311ST with the project X 6.5, I was squaring you the ball repetitively, and the ball had the tightest 1-2 yard draw on it. Dispersion was incredible, much better than my 0311P but it could have been the shaft combo. I was also hitting the ball higher with more decent angle which is exactly what I was looking for, and with higher spin resulting in the ball stopping quicker on the green. When I looked and aimed at a flag during fitting, I was all over it on every shot. I was also able to fade the ball with 1-3 yards so the blade made it very workable, better than what I’m currently used to.

Overall I decided to order 6-PW in 0311ST and 5 iron in 0311T. Boy do they look so good. I also play the Milled PXG wedges so the feel through out the bag is now the same.

To be fair you can use a putter for 100 years and not see much wear. I get right about 2 summers out of an iron set. You beat them against the ground , cart path , rocks , roots etc if you play it down .

Lol. Sometimes. But I also know of several tree roots and hardpan areas 2ft off the fairway too. Not to mention that red clay soil where I live is as good as the best abrasive extruding putty material as far as being slick yet incredibly good at adding quick wear.

I was about to say something negative about Oklahoma, then I saw SC. Was unaware you had red clay out that way. I'm such a softy that if I land in a bunker with loose rock, I won't hit out of it out of fear of damaging my wedges. With that said, if I end up with the 0311 T's which I have been pining over for months I'm almost positive I will treat it like my M4 back in Africa (like my life depends on it).

Yea. It’s a vain of it I guess from edge of NC through upstate S.C. and Georgia. Go an hour and 45 min south and it’s “ gumbo “ type sandy soil. Something to do with the ancient coastline being about half way up our state.

First 2 rounds with these 74 and 71 (-1) same course. I find I’m closer to the pin on all greens as now I’m able to take dead aim.

So far so good looking to get into the 60’s for the first time in my life is the goal for 2020, too bad for winters here or else it would be a goal by the end of the year

I went with these 7-PW. I have the 0311P which I like but I hit these and the feel was pretty unbelievable. I don't know if they are as soft as Mizuno or whatever but for me they have a soft but solid feel, hard to describe. The decision point for me was the incredible feel, I think they look great, and I can flight them easier than the 0311P. I don't really try to work the ball left and right, I'm not that good but I do like to hit different shots with different trajectories which I think is fun to play around with. These irons allow me to do that. I still have a 5-6 iron in the 0311 more GI. I don't hit very many greens that far away just trying to get it in the neighborhood.

I hesitated a little on cost but in the end for me I pulled the trigger because they were shorter irons that I thought I would enjoy playing with, personal decision and I didn't take out a 3rd mortgage for it.

A good day for me is 77-79, a bad day is high 80's just to give you some perspective. I have only played 1 round with these, had more birdie chances than normal but also had a couple of not so good iron shots. I was able to hit a couple of low spinners that checked up right away which was kinda fun. I also found that they were pretty forgiving on shots low on the face which is my miss, ball carried pretty well with this shot. Didn't really have any toe or heel shots that I remember to comment on.

You can rip on the price and my decision for buying these irons all you want but I feel these are pretty special and different than anything out there and I had fun knocking them around the range and my round. Think about hitting them before commenting. I think you will like them or at least find they are not for you.
