The real question is..... How do you like the black tie in your 430?...because that's what I'm thinking about throwing in mine.

Black tie was great, but lowered the loft and went to the Red to get the same optimization with an open setup. Both are much closer to each other than the Red being in between there and White Tie.

Switching between three shaft currently.

- UST Elements Chrome 7F5
- Miyazaki B.Asha 7X
- Matrix Prototype (White Tie) 7X

I prefer the Chrome the most, it feels very smooth but very stable at the same time. It is an amazing combo if you have the money to spend. If you want a good and fair priced combo I can recommend the B.Asha. Smooth feeling and very long. Why I prefer the Chrome over the B.Asha is dispersion. Chrome is a straight beast!

I'll 2nd peakposition's comment about the Chrome. I just received my SLDR with the UST Elements Chrome in the Tour Stiff. I'm really loving the shaft as he stated, it's very smooth and stable, plus it looks slick in the SLDR head. SS of 107-110 and usually play X but father time is catching up to me and I'm tired of swinging a telephone pole for 18-36 holes a day.

I use an Oban Kyoshi White 04 in a 10.5 head adjusted to 11, slider three clicks toward FADE.

Using it only at the range so far but my 10.5 set to 11.5 in the upright position with the weight in its stock position and my Aldila Phenom NL x-stiff seems to work pretty fine.

7.2 Tour Spec here as well, 10.5 in 430 with stock settings...

Trying out a Speeder 757 soon. I love the shaft, I want more experience with the head.

Played around with the 7M3 but fought the lefts with that combination. It's long... just couldn't reign it in. The Speeder doesn't usually let that happen.

I'm a swapper as well. AD DI, Kyioshi White, Attas T², and VTS red. All feel great and each work just a little different from one another.

TP7HD in X was awesome in both the 430 12* head and 430 10.5 head.

Just got the AD DI 7x on Tuesday and in the 10.5 head it has reduced spin quite a bit and increased launch from ~11 to ~14....which is nice.

I am still partial to the TP though just because it feels so awesome

I'm playing a AD MT-6X in my SLDR 430 head. Love the combo so far...

I'm likely the only one so far, but I have had fantastic results with my SLDR 460 and a heavily tipped Dynamic Gold X100, Tipped to length(~3") playing at 44.5" Honestly I use it because of the heavy weight, which I have become accustomed to over the years because quality low torque driver shafts over 100g in graphite are not cheap nor easy to come by. The DG X100 cost me $16, and has stayed the course and is still in the bag.

Edit: Figured I should include some more popular shafts I have also used with good results in the SLDR,
- Matrix 7M3 Black Tie X, spin was actually almost too low for me with this, though the feel is very solid and the action can take a harsh transition
- Oban Kiyoshi White X , slightly more spin and launch than the 7M3, but very manageable and smooth feeling even under high load
