Cool shots. I'd be curious to know if he's had any special work done on his irons. I was watching a video from the mid 2000's where Phil Rodgers said they had to make him some special irons with more bounce. He said JB's 5 iron they made him had something like 12* of bounce.

99% likely it's 2-3 degrees open. Probably about 10* actual loft

It may be just the ferrule but looks unlike any ferrule I've seen walk up the shaft. Appears to have a lot of the epoxy in the subtle shape of a cone. In the old days they used to cone the hosel to give more epoxy area and to prevent the hosel from cutting the graphite shaft. Looks a lot like those days when the epoxy would break in the hosel and part would walk up the shaft with the ferrule. If not why change it---might wreck his game.. Wait until the caddy has to chase the head..

Looks from the pics like he has it at almost standard loft. I get the whole launch angle/loft up thing, but the 12* stuff still blows my mind.

I called he was playing the XTD hybrid! Just saying. .lol. golf.com was way off with saying he played a TEE hybrid. Only a wrx ho would take the time to dvr, rewind, pause, take a picture and confirm the XTD.
