Went to get fitted for a new driver a couple of weeks ago and it finally got delivered today. Nike Covert Tour 2.0 with Aldila Tour Green stiff shaft. Also had a Golf Pride BCT white grip added, didn't really like the stock Nike wrap grip.

I hadn't really thought about the covert 2.0 until I got to the fitting (I was expecting SLDR, Bio Cell) but I loved the feel of this driver / shaft combination. Really felt like I could attack the ball and really hit through the shot, the other drivers felt like I had to guide them.

After getting the grip changed the only other thing I may look at is refinishing the head. I'm not a huge fan of the red, may go for a matt black finish like the new ping g30. I have an old RBZ driver I can practice on first...

Traded in a old set of R7 irons and a old driver and picked these up for $60 this weekend. They are in really nice shape. No rust and the grooves are all pretty sharp.

I just bought myself a bag of wooden tees so I definitely feel like I haven't been living up to the golfwrx ho'ing status haha, but I'm also part of 2014 bag is set group...that really helps me keep my spending under control.
