[/quote]I've had them for 4 days and already have 4 rounds with them. Not going to blow smoke up anyone's a**, they aren't any better than the 59's. Still getting used to the different feel, but I for sure am not going to say...whoa..these things are soo awesome. I can say that my yardages are still pretty much the same. Just flat out tough to beat a mizuno iron.

I play in a men's league on a public course and alot of guys have these and I decided to pick one up, very happ with it so far and while it hasn't helped produced any low scores yet I feel so far (45 holes played with it) it's been a good purchase

Holy crow! An honest review! Thank you! Been tempted by the 55s but I just can't justify the cost without the performance increase

A few things I've noticed in this thread:

1. There are a lot of freaking leftys on here.
2. I've always loved Titleist irons, but there is something about those S55s that make me want to cheat on my longtime favorite.

we don't justify anything here, we just blindly buy and buy.

jk but i think you might see quite a difference coming from the TP MB,, the 59s are cream of the crop so naturally hard to live upto.

[/quote]I feel your pain, as the grass always seems to be greener on the other side. I don't have buyers remorse for purchasing the S55's, they are definitely a great iron. Just not a notch above the MP 59's. I will continue to game them with a smile on my face but they aren't the holy grail of irons for me. And that's hard to say having just gotten them. Most new purchasers think or make themselves think, they have just purchased the best there is for their game, as they have to justify their purchase. Human nature.

I don't say this to discourage anyone who is considering the S55's as their next set of irons. I have nothing bad to say about them. They are truely a great set of irons. Just don't expect too much after spending your hard earned money on any set of irons. In the end, you're only as good as you are. We all know we can't buy a game, but we sure have fun trying!
