Following up to what was stated. I also spoke to my rep and he confirmed the shafts mentioned before. Whiteboard, blueboard, redboard, Rogue Silver, and Rogue black will all be stock offerings. The new line is supposed to be really hot and as long as anything on the market. Also, the driver, fairways, and hybrids will all be released at the same time instead of a delay on fairways and hybrids.

Secondly.... The Rogue Silver is 110 and Black is 95, what will be the difference to the consumer? Will it be distinguishable in terms of quality? I assume they will be free options but special order only? It seems like most shops carry 1 or 2 shaft options only and the others are by order

It's completely up to the sales reps to set them up but he already has some of the clubs in hand and said most places will start fitting in early October.

According to the rep I spoke with who brought his 915s in for us to hit, yes, there is a big difference between the two. He said this was not an incremental improvement, but a big leap forward.

Depends in your definition of REAL? The "real" rogue is 125 MSI, these are 95 and 110... What that equates to in performance I don't know

I can't answer that. Serious question though, if it was and you hit that club/shaft combo further and straighter than a non-made for shaft, would you care?

Appreciate the honesty. Not challenging you in any way,I just hoped to understand. I never understood the fascination with real deal versus made for if it performs.

I really don't know if it's made for or real deal but I would have to assume that it's real. Are manufacturers using made for shafts anymore? With the competition in the market place the way that it is, the consumer has almost dictated the desire to offer real deal shafts. In my mind the original Rogue was the price it was due to the large part of that cost being to recoup the R&D costs associated with the shaft. Spread those costs over 100 shafts and it's a huge chunk of change. Now when Titleist is buying 100,000 shafts, their pricing is much much better than the end consumer allowing them to offer the Rogue as a stock offering. They moved away from made for shafts with the 913s so I don't know that they'd reverse course and start doing it again.

I agree. I don't see why they would change their policy of using real shafts as they did with the 913 series. That said, the Green or Blue ATX are great shafts too. Even if they are not a stock option, that is likely the direction I will go. I'm not sure how the Rogues will compare to the other ATX shafts.

My understanding is that the driver and fairway shafts are 110msi and the hybrid shaft is 95msi. The one I hit was a 110 black and I thought it felt great!

My understanding is these will be REAL Rogue shafts and not a "made for" product. Think of it as the Recoils--you'll have the standard options then the high-priced version. The rep said Titleist would have an exclusivity deal for the "retail" Rogue shafts until spring of '15.

kind of a neat idea to push orders early
kind of like when you order a snowmobile in the spring (has to be ordered before a certain date)
you can order it with options, that aren't available when they all come to retail in the late fall/early winter

might be cool to offer the high end 125 ROGUE shafts this fall, then make it not available when it comes to retail in the spring

With the TEE Beta starting at $299 I cannot believe it is the "real" deal in anyway. TEE has been selling themselves short with their "made for" RIP, Tour AD-DI and others.

Forgot where I read it but Beta with Rogue's are $399. Either way will be interesting to see what TEE's look like as I'm sure Titleist will have the standard graphics.
