Besides stamped initials,are there any ways to find out which tour players owned these tour only used clubs for sale on ebay or bst?

Just saw that these were available through the Vault on July 30, already sold out, sweet looking stick, hate it that I missed it. Anybody get one.

The seller might tell you, but it's his word only. There is no COA with the TM stuff.

To be fair, this putter would have sold out just as fast at that price even without the major win. A true one-off putter built by a major OEM tour department with that many man hours of hand-built customizations for only $750? For some of us, it seems like a steal in that context.

While I'm waiting for the Jason Day Itsy Bitsy prototype to arrive, I thought I'd post pictures of my two Ghost Spider S tour issue putters. Both have custom top alignment plates that were only available on some of the tour models. The only shame is that they're glued in and not interchangeable in this "final" state. It would have been cool to be able to swap these out; for example, one with no sightline would have been sweet. Stepped black shafts on both.

Yes, these were both Vault items. Standard black Pure Roll insert in both. 34" with the Red/Black Ghost Spider grip.

She finally arrived! The Itsy Bitsy Jason Day replica. Pictures do not do this putter justice. The compact shape of this head is really nice.

Yes, first Spider with the 80/20. The best way I can describe it is to say it feels different. My single bend has a very hard plastic "clicky" feel to it, while my slant necks all feel better; more solid, yet softer. The Day IB feels much firmer, but it feels good. It's comparable to the Day MC72, but there is a difference.

TM Daytona 12. 35" long, 350g with two 15g weights and milled insert. The bumpers were sanded down and then stamped with the players name. Debating whether to remove the name or not.

It does, yes. The thing I like best is the #6 neck on the putter. I have a few TM Tour putters but this is the only one I have pics of at the moment. I think you will really like the oldest one I have, which I will post pics of soon.

Ed,

The milled insert does have a much more audible 'click' than compared the other surlyn style inserts. I have a Super Stroke Ultra Slim 1.0 on at the moment, but I plan on installing a Pingman so maybe a rubber grip will make the sound go away.

Don't want to make a new thread since there seems to be a lot of TM Ghost Spider brain power in here, but I am loving my new Ghost Spider S putter (retail model). I could only get it in 35" and the 33" was too short. I hit both and found the feel in the head much much better in the 35" model so went with that (felt a lot more sturdy...like a point and shoot putter). Ideally, I'd like it to be 34" or 34.5". Would cutting it down 1" or 0.5" change the feel in my head at all....or is it all in my head lol?

OR should I not mess with it and leave it at 35"?

Also, is it normal the 35" would feel a lot more sturdy than the 33"?
