ok guys back from another demo sesh w the Pro head
I was able to demo it w the following shafts:

Stock S+ 60 stiff
Aldila Tour Green 65 stiff
OBAN Gold 65 o4 flex
Speeder 661 stiff
Speeder 757 X
KK TiNi 60 X

I wont bore you with pics of my session w every shaft
heres some out takes of it all tho:

stock S+ honestly isn't terrible, but does play soft to flex IMO. Go up a flex if you want this shaft.

Tour Green feels AWESOME, but spun more than the S+ for me and as a result was the shortest distance wise

OBAN Gold - not a fan. Just felt boardy and un-responsive. Plus its a $400+ uncharge, so ya ... it was out quick.

Speeder 661 - couldn't get it to launch high enough for me, only around 10-11*. Feel is good, tip felt soft.

Speeder 757 - this was an x flex shaft, so between the added weight and X, it was low and short. Not for me.

KK TiNi - this was where things got interesting. Feel is on point, suits my swing pretty damn good. But it was an X flex shaft, and I'm normally a tweener playing a tipped Stiff. I hit some freaking bombs w this shaft. left me puzzled on flex to be honest.....
I was swinging pretty good today, better than yesterday
Im fighting a tear in my lower ab from a hockey injury, but it felt good today (not yesterday). Yesterday I could barely get the club 100mph, today I was in my norm in the 107 range and quite a few over 110mph.
This driver is LAZER BEAMS straight for me. I hit it side by side my newly acquired BBa 815 w Speeder 665 and it wasn't even close.

So I have returned the BBa but havent ordered the Pro just yet
I got some great numbers w the KK TiNi, spin around the 2400-2600 on avge., misses closer to 3000
I think it is directly related to my AoA tho and not the head or shaft, as this is a common theme for me
My "ideal numbers" are 2300-2500 spin and around 14* launch. I need to play for carry, as its wet here a lot. But also windy, so need to make sure the spin is low enough it doesn't balloon when its really breezy.
SO im not far off and some of my longest ones were in that "ideal range" and just SO FREAKING STRAIGHT

This head is really forgiving. I hit one that I thought FOR SURE would be hooking left hard....it was high, slight draw and freaking long.
I found myself being able to centre it more than the BBa, which I was always hitting just outside middle, high toe.

Im on the fence ..... I think Im sold on the head, just not on shaft and flex
Part of me wants to demo the D+ 60 S or X as well, but I can't really argue the results of the KK TiNi. And it may never be possible to demo the D+ here.
I don't think it would be wise of me to order the X, as I never play X and anytime I have it ends up being too much shaft for me
So maybe id get the stiff and tip it an inch

I need to make a decision by the weekend tho, as I mentioned before, Golf Town is having a sale and you get $75 off the driver until Sunday.
What Tini is it, 60g or 70g? I would say if you're getting more swings in the 110 range and like the feel, go with the X. My SS is around 115 and I'm playing the 60X and have been pretty accurate with it in 3 rounds. The Tini plays similar to a white board but will launch a little higher, from what I have been reading. In the end, can't argue with results! That's why I like getting on the flightscope so much, its nice to put your mind at ease with what your eyes see!

Nope. Feels the same to me!

They made the tip smaller and lighter but I can't tell the difference.
same all the shafts I tried today had the tip from the CT 2.0, and I couldn't tell the difference w the new one
EXCEPT, it does seem to line up easier on the new one for sure
Any of you guys have success pulling the covert adapters? I have a white board 60x in my pro and have a tough time turning it over I have a fuji pro i'd like to try in this head. I find this head to be really low spinning for me and I'm a high spin guy. Best feeling head I've used similar feel to the 910d3 for me.

Flexloft adaptors were an easy pull. I haven't messed with the new 2.0 version.

Try the d+ 70x .....
no I know a 70's gram shaft isn't for me
as I mentioned above, I can't try the D+ w/out blind ordering it .... just not sure I want to do that
Enis, the D+ 60 X might be just what you're looking for. I'm similar in numbers to you, and I have a smooth backswing and a somewhat quick transition and it's been a beautiful shaft for me. If you don't have a moderately quick transition it might feel boardy because of the stiff tip.

Your local shop should be able to sell them to you.

I went to a PGA SuperStore and bought a covert 2.0 fairway cover for $19 when they released, since the one I got off eBay didn't come with one.

Really? I saw headcovers in the back counter and I asked if it was for sale. They said $19 for it. I was there to buy a generic 5 wood cover until I asked and said it was available.

Guess wait till eBay sellers have them.

Has anyone had a chance to hit the Flex hybrid yet? I hit the 3 drivers yesterday as well as the Flex FWY but didn't hit the hybrid as all PGASS had were Regular flex demos.

As a sidebar I found the Diamana S 60X/70X to be very stable with pretty solid dispersion (115-118MPH) in both the Pro driver and Flex FWY. Spin was a touch high at around 2600 but the dispersion was so good (you could drop the 9-10 drives with the Pro into a bath tub) it has me deciding whether or not to order a set to compare with the 815's when the come in. I hit the 815DBD against it yesterday, the same version I ordered with Rogue 60X, and the 815DBD was 8-10 yards longer consistently but the dispersion wasn't anywhere near as good as the Vapor Pro with Diamana S.

If I had half a brain I would order the Nike and be in the fairway all day but I'm a power hungry moron who apparently enjoys punching out of the woods 1-2 times per round. :russian_roulette:

As for the hybrid, picked up the flex last week. It is an absolute cannon!

Can you compare the flex fwy to the CT's 1 or 2.0? I didn't get along with the original CT, I couldn't get it airborne of the deck but off the tee it was 2nd to none. The CP 2.0 was the best of both worlds for me.

I felt like the CT 2.0 was a bit "mushy" but produced. Never hit the 1.0 as I held on to my vr ii. The Flex Feel, sound, size look at address were all perfect to me. I for some reason hit the CT/flex better/further than the Cp/speed. The speed was fun to hit also, I prefer the head size of flex tho, so straight up distance isn't #1. I think the TEE does that for me now.

I don't know that I would mess with the shaft either. Felt like I could load it nicely and it was producing some great ball speeds for me. I almost bought it but when I asked if they had any "good"deals the guy walked away from me;)

Hit the flex hybrid and fwy and am definitely impressed. Time to retire the last non swoosh club in the bag(tee xcg5 3 hyb)

Unsure on Driver still although I haven't made one half way decent swing with my driver in about 3 months.

Can you compare the flex fwy to the CT's 1 or 2.0? I didn't get along with the original CT, I couldn't get it airborne of the deck but off the tee it was 2nd to none. The CP 2.0 was the best of both worlds for me.
I hit the 3 hyb w stock diamana 80g. It feels similar to the ct2:0 IMO but more stable and has a nice muted sound.

I almost bought it but when I asked if they had any "good"deals the guy walked away from me;)
Speed hybrid is a beast. That thing goes. Our demos came in today, but I didn't get a chance to hit any. Looking at giving the Flex fwy a go tomorrow. What loft did you hit the Flex hyb at?

Hit the Vapor pro today, very impressed. Consistent ball speed, great launch angle and spin rate. The stock offering definitely would've knocked the current gammer out of the bag, by about 7 yards. Ended up going with the 915 d2 in 8.5 though, largely because I already had the Fujikura Shaft they fit me into mounted up with a sure-fit tip. The Vapor pro and the D2 had nearly identical numbers on flight scope with the same shaft for me. Hit the vapor flex, spun too little for me and I ended up loosing about 11 yards to the current gammer. Very impressed with Nikes new line.

I also hit the r15, and big bertha 815, the Vapor Pro and the 915 were the best of the 4. The 815 was a distant 3rd, with the r15 being a distant 4th beyond the 815. The 815 double black diamond put up similar numbers to the Vapor Pro and the 915, on average about 1 mph slower in ball speed. I didn't like the feel compared to the Vapor and 915. All I have to say about the r15 is, it definitely is not the driver for me.

Did you hit them all in stock dressing? Was the R15 too spinny?

Nice. I'm stuck with the hybrid right now. I want to get the Flex 3 hyb and probably set it at 19 or 20. The CT 1.0 is set at 21, but I'm considering bumping it to 19 and use it as a gap filler between 3 wood and 4 iron. I like the look of the Flex, but I don't really hit my hybrid very much and I might be served better by upgrading somewhere else.

Got to give the pro it's first outing on the Eden course at St Andrews this weekend. It was with the stock S+ shaft rather than the D+ I was fitted to as the shop let me take it out until the D+ arrives.

I think this could be the start of a beautiful relationship. I was not swinging well on Sunday and losing everything to the right (with all clubs) but I loved the feel and the distance is definitely back up from my ill fated dalliance with the G30. I was regularly hitting it straght into the rough and being the same distance as playing partners who benefited from significant roll out in the fairway.

I was able to hit the Pro and Flex drivers tonight, as well as the hybrids. I took two hits with the hybrid and was done, not a fan at all. I was only able to hit the drivers with the S+ 60 which I was not a fan of. The Pro felt pretty good at impact and sounded solid, but I was launching that thing to the moon. Out of the ten balls I hit with the Pro, I averaged 16* launch and spin was +3500 rpms. The Flex launched a bit lower and sounded more muted. Didn't pay attention to the numbers much. I should've brought a few of my shafts with Flexlofts as I'm sure the S+ doesn't fit me. I went back and forth with the Nikes and my 915D3 and it was night and day.

Hopefully I can go back in the next few days and give the drivers a fair shot with my shafts. Also would like to give the fairways a shot, but honestly don't think they can touch the 915F.
