Looking for some help on reshafting irons. Already have the set of shafts (new) and talked with MoG but they were quoting 60/iron even though I have the shafts. Looking for any other suggestions on places I can trust for reasonable price.

Prices like that are part of what led me to start doing my own club work. $60/club is outrageous.

I have a hard time spending time watching golf in the summer when I could be playing.

It’s a lot different watching on TV compared to in person. For anyone who has never been to a Tour event in person, I’d highly recommend going. It’s a lot of fun to watch those guys hit the ball and to see how they go about things. Their touch around the greens is really impressive.

 

That said, I’m probably going to be out of town, so I won’t be going.

 

I have been to plenty of events and I agree that watching them is awesome. But I don’t like it as much as playing. With limited free time, I always pick playing.

I switched to a different epoxy, which seems to work a lot better. Never had any of mine fly off, knock on wood!

If you're open to heading east, Don Price at DC Golf Studio in Royal Oak does all of my work. He reshafted all of my irons last year, and did my 3i again last week.

I've hit a lot of them so far this year, and I've been most impressed with the G410 Plus (clear #1), M6, and the F9, I have a Flash SZ head, but after one round and a couple times at the range, I haven't been blown away, though I haven't hit it with a heavier weight that I got from Callaway to bring up the swingweight.
