Itw, I'm in a very similar spot with my bag to start the year. I completely went on a spending binge since my tax refund came in. My bag is in all kinds of disarray. l'm also waiting on wedges--in the meantime I'm using a beat up Frankenstein Vokey 60° I intended to experiment with but was a drastic failure, which has a super stroke on it (I use it as a training aid, but that was before I sold my old wedge set) & a Pinemeadow Pre 56° Walmart wedge, while my scratch wedges are being finished over in London. I don't have my 7 iron, because the shaft snapped taking a divot back in December, my driving iron is finally getting built, and in the mail is a Rombax p95x for my Nike VR Pro LE 5 wood, set to replace the noodle that's presently in it. Finally, my irons need to be reshafted, to boot. I'm lucky to be shooting some decent scores with a bunch of temps while missing a few teeth at the same time.

My best purchase was 8 dozen Srixon Z-Star XV Tour Yellows for $73. I should be set for the year with balls, and if I run out something is seriously wrong lol.

OD, I'd think you could get plenty of feedback locally on those recoils. You probably remember what I thought about them.

Been ho'ing like crazy today and ordering something every hour or so lol. OW, where'd you get that cash cover with the hard to find O ring?

I am pretty sure this is what you are looking for:

Swiz,
Jay at Piedmont is the guy.

Nothing against Jay and Piedmomt, but I've owned his stuff and HOF stuff, and I'd give the nod to HOF. BUT, it is more expensive too, so you might get what you pay for. Jimmy (jcigars) is your guy there.

Nothing against Jimmy, have sourced a couple Betti's thru him. But HOF is WAY more expensive than Piedmont.

Sure, but depends what you get. I got a stingray cover with ostrich interior for 275 from Jimmy about 3 years ago. Just now thinking I need to get something new (has about a year left on it I think). I bought a Tejus lizard from Piedmont for under $100, and I was seeing similar wear and year after a year or so. Could be apples and oranges, but that's what I'm basing my take on.

Have had zero issues with what I would consider premature wear on anything from Piedmont. 2 cash covers and 6 belts. All good

I have Piedmont and Patrick Gibbons hand made.

The Patrick Gibbons cost twice as much and feels better but the Piedmont has held up pretty good for sure.

For the price point, the Piedmont is a good value no doubt.

It just kills me how we can talk basketball and football (on a golfers page) for 3 months and then the best tourney of the year starts, and there are NO comments.
Yesterdays play was a blast to watch! I love the friday pin locations. makes the course "get-able" (if thats a word).
I also love the fact that I can "screen mirror" from phone to TV to watch Amen corner ALL DAY and see every group, and not have to rely on the network to show me what/who I want to see.

Agreed, so here are some comments:
Like Speith, and never wish a competitor to stumble, but part of me was not disappointed by the double on 17. Set the stage for potential drama on Sunday.

Wish Tiger and Sergio would have thrown down and went at it WWF style.

Hope Charlie plays well tomorrow.

What a pitch by Speith on 18

Why is the course playing so soft? They can control green firmness, no rain, higher collars, lush fairways?

In response to your first point, when a guy does what Spieth did the first 69 holes, even though it's the Masters, there's not much to talk about. Now there is just enough doubt to make today interesting, rather than simply a coronation.

I was hoping McIlroy would win this week, get the career grand slam, and then he can just go after all of them without the "when will he win this one?" stuff. The short putts he missed are really going to come back to haunt him seeing how Spieth gave a couple away.

CBS' Woods adoration meter was at 70% yesterday. Almost unbearable, but nowhere near as bad as it has been in the past, so that was good. Although I didn't like how Paul Casey disappeared from the screen, while never disappearing from the leaderboard.

I think Spieth will hang on though. He was in the cauldron last year, unlike McIlroy in 2011, so he knows what to expect. Plus a 72 means a 67 or better from the other guys to beat him, and I don't know that he will miss enough shots to shoot worse than 72.
How did you like wolf run doz? Course is tough as nails.
I played one up, but I think they had the markers up another tee yet...no fairway roll as the course played pretty wet from the rain that came through here a couple days ago.
I shot 75 (4 over), no wind and 65/sunny.
Got stuck behind 3 5-somes so I ended up playing with some members...they said it's the best track in metro Indy hands down.

I seriously thought I was playing Valhalla again, the course was Amazing!!!! If anyone gets the chance, play Wolf Run you will not be disappointed.

From the tips, rated at 76...woW

Wow....just getting back from vacation and have not had a chance to watch any of the Masters but you can bet my butt that I will be watching all day today. I love Jordan and his story and hope he can hang on but it would be pretty cool to see Phil, Tiger, or Rory get hot and make some noise.

On a side note I made a trip to Carls last week and bought and entire new set of clubs.....you guys are a bad influence on my and I went there with the idea of getting a new pair of shoes. I left with an entire new set including bag :) I will post some pics in a few days!

gotta dis-agree...I thought Saturday was one of the best Masters rounds ever. Almost everybody played well and it was enjoyable to watch. the tiger coverage wasn't as bad as usual (and all tiger all the time is my biggest b#tch about tv coverage.
Today was good, but nothing like yesterday. Spieths' winning reactions were a little to calm tho
