Freds in Roscommon; decent food. big menu. average beer selection
Spikes in Grayling; very good burger, average beer selection, lively atmosphere.
Paddle Hard brewpub in Grayling. Limited menu but the flatbread pizza's are fantastic. Excellent beer selection. Hangout for canoer's, bikers.
Bear Trap Grayling; very good food, the panfried perch is excellent. very good beer selection.

I'm hopeful my yearly spell of the driver yips is coming to an end, actually went and got a lesson last week. I've been playing too much if that's possible and it's really frustrating to have penalty shots every round. Purposely went somewhere I normally have issues off the tee yesterday and kept it in play all day.

Ok IPA fans. Tried a new one tonight. The Oracle DIPA from Bells. I am not normally a huge Bells fan (except two hearted and Obreron (shut up 3JP)). This is pretty good but at 10% it is pretty strong.

Played belvedere this past Wednesday. Course is in great shape. Don't know if it was the may rain but felt like on of the best conditioned, healthiest course I've been on in a long time. Turf was awesome. Even the grass on the range was in great shape.

Oracle is great. I have two left and they are currently aging in my basement. I'm waiting for a good excuse to crack them open.

Played Moose Ridge for the first time ever today. Loved the course, greens were some of the best I've putted on this year and the sand was perfect, course was in great shape over all. More than a few tight tee shots there and plenty of blind greens but overall thought it was a great track.

Need a recommendation on shoes from the crew....

Currently using adizeros and realizing that these do too much damage to the greens (plus they are a reminder that I need to lose weight, LOL). Don't want to go full spikeless (not just a bunch of rubber nubs), but want something that can handle a 18 or 27 hole walk. Thoughts?

I really like my Lunar Control 3's. I don't walk a lot but they are very comfortable.

I have some PUMA biofusions and they were super comfortable right out of the box. They are light and great for walking. You can grab a new pair on the bay for $60-70.

CCP, with Michigan dumping Adidas for Nike this makes perfect sense for you. Lol. I am a spikless guy so Ecco Biom Hybrids for me.
