Anyone think playing too fast is actually in poor etiquette?

Somewhere between my 20s and 30s i learned to say no to any demand and then just silently wait for the other party to speak. It throws most humans for a loop.  You have to teach folks how to behave sometimes.  Usually the less words the better. Try it sometimes.  Just say no.  Nothing else.  Their response won’t be escalation.  It will be more like the old aol dial up tone trying to connect.

Yeah well when slow players start to alleviate the game you can have your wish. Played a qualifier today. They told us on the first tee our time par was 4:49. This is for a 3 some of pro golfers as the 3rd group out for the day. So yeah if your competitor is playing already slow on top off that I have zero problems going to the next tee and hitting
