Pleased to say 4 iron.

I used to play hybrids down to a 7 iron-hybrid for the longest time until i finally learned how to hit mid and long irons.

2 iron unless I need to hit the high one into several greens then it's my hybrid and either the 3w or 2 iron comes out in that case.

Set up changes but it goes anywhere from a 2 iron (18*) up to a 4 iron (24*) have some extra woods and wedges that come into play depending on the track.

3 iron I wish there was a 2 iron. IMO i am not good at golf until I can hit the 3 iron well.

7 Iron, then 6h, 5h, 4h, & 3h Adams A12OS Combo Set. Was purchased in June to attempt to get back the iron distance I lost due to slowing swing from age and back issues. It worked, by the way, length equal to distance I had on my irons 20 years ago but with better accuracy. Also moved from steel to graphite shafts to reduce impact stress on body hoping to play the game for another 20 years.

Just a hacker that love's the game.

24 degree 4 iron for me at the moment. Recently went from Cleveland Mashie 3 and 4 hybrids but I believe the light shafts were causing me issues so the 4 iron went in with an i25 19 degree.

The 4 iron flies so much lower than the 5 iron or the hybrid but I often found myself on long par 3s into the wind wishing I had a lower ball flight than the Mashie would provide. I've not had the chance to play it out on the course yet and I'm not convinced that choking down on the hybrid wouldn't be a better option.

I use a 5 iron as my longest on courses with a par 3 that requires it. If not I drop it in favor of lightening the bag or replacing it with a hybrid.

The 909h in 19 is a great club, but the distance is unpredictable, 190 sometimes is what you get, almost 230 on the next shot I use it.
The 4 is all over 200 when you need it.

Currently a 21* 3 iron however ive got a carry two 7 woods idea for the spring. If im playing a par 3 course i drop the 3 wood or driver for an 18* 2 iron for off the tee. 3 iron has always been my punch club because i cant get much air nor consistency out of it for longer shots hence my 2 7 woods idea.

I currently play a 4i then 22* hybrid but after a really successful few rounds in the Florida wind, I'm thinking of dumping the 4i and popping in a 25* hybrid. I've never been able to consistently hit hybrids but I've found the magic combo and it's making me rethink my bag...

2 driving iron, but just carry up to 4 in my set. In Florida I carry a 3 and add a 52 because of all of the wind.

my longest iron is a 712U 2 iron, i can't seem to find a hybrid anywhere to take the place of a 2 iron for hitting off a tee. I dropped the 3 iron out for an Adams pro Mini then my bag continues on from 4 iron to PW. The adams comes out for longer courses for a 5 wood.
I had a 1 iron in my bag until about 2 years ago and no three wood, since making the change to more fairway woods and more forgiving clubs the low end of the bag has suffered an identity crisis.
