Being the wedge hoarder that I am (4 vokeys, 5 scratch, 2 Cleveland, and 2 mac daddy tour grinds) I drank the cool aid and pick up a 60 toe sweep today. That thing is like cheating. I only chipped around the practice green but was really impressed. Nice heavy feel even with the stock shaft. You expect it, from its design, to be easy to open and hit flops and high shots, but what really impressed me was from tight lies I was able to close the face a hair and hit low checking shots as well as high shots. Don't think I would dare hit a fully shot with it, but really I wouldn't want to anyway. So tempted to throw it in the bag for my men's league tomorrow without changing the shaft or grip...

I absolutely love my pm grinds....BUT when I change it is toe sweeps for me. Love the look at address with that straight leading edge. Also nothing beats a nice rusty finish IMO.

Yes. My VR forged was my current wedge and you can see by the grip how much I used it.

Now I'll use the 60*. I hit it off grass earlier and got gash on it. No big deal. Can't wait for it to rust.

I'm at driving range again today for my second session in with it. It's great.

So I know someone brought it up earlier, but the stock shaft offering per Nike is that S400. However, my shaft band says "wedge" which I always thought was a S200. I mean, I'm sure it's splitting hairs here and I'll be putting the Nippon N.S. wedge shaft in anyway but what's the deal here with these shafts? I was starting to wonder if I should've kept my tour trusty's and pulled the Black S200's from them?

It was confirmed earlier that they are indeed S400 as stock even though the label says "wedge" so you're good.

Took it to the pitching and chipping area. The engage slides through the grass easier than the VR forged. So I have to get used to the distance control.

Also tried to flop and out of the bunkers and I like it. So far so good, especially good I tight lies where I have the most trouble.

Lots of great initial reactions in here.. Nice! After spending some more time w them, it was worth the wait. Have the 50&54 SS and 58TS. Love the looks of the SS and they feel great.

Love the 58 TS also, easy out of the sand but also versatile. I think it lays open a little nicer for flops than the 2014.

How's the 54 Sq working out?[/quote]i haven't given it the full treatment but good so far. It hits my 105 gap nicely and I like the 54 around the green on tight lies. I decided to go back to a standard grind in the lower two because if I miss the green, most often its a bunker or some nasty lie so the 58 covers me there and is less frightening than the 60 vr in those situations

Picked up a 56* in square and toe sweep, as well as a 60* toe sweep. Going to test the 56's and see what works best for me and put the other up for sale. First impressions without hitting them is I love the how the leading edge of the toe sweep lies at address. Playing 3 rounds this weekend so we'll see how they perform for me.

Love the grind on the 54! Tiger had the same exact grind on his wedge. I bent this weak to 55* hope it's not too much bounce. Can't wait to test them tomorrow. Really excited about this grind though!!!

I haven't had a problem with full shots after the first night out with them. I hit my 54 TS full a couple of times yesterday....both were solid, just left out right a little.

Cool. I've been thinking that the 54 SQ might have been a better option for me than the TS, but the TS has been getting better the last two times out.

Damn you 9 miler, ran out and picked one up before league last night. Didn't put it in play but messed around with it and will throw it in for a skins game today. Does look a lot better at address than I thought it would. Lot of friends going to spend some time with it too. I use 60 from 100 and in almost exclusively so not sure it's gonna make the bag but we'll see, I've got a scratch wedge really dialed in there now. 60* TS

i have 3 rounds with the 58 TS and i have no issues with full shots. My previous 58* was the Vokey K grind and I don't see any performance difference on full shots (or even on partial shots from 40-60 yards out). Around the greens and out of the bunker I'm really liking the TS a lot. There was a few shots that I thought I hit fat out of the bunker but the TS was able to still get the ball out whereas the same shot with the K I'm pretty confident I would of left the ball in the bunker. This is my first go with the TS but I think the design and the heel relief really works.

Got my 52SQ and 58TS with the DG Pro X100. That was a mistake on my part (118g DG PRO vs 132g DG.) I wanted to play the same shafts as my VPCs. But it is just to light for me. I just added about 8g of lead tape to both wedges but that is only temporary until I get the new S400 DG Tour Issue Onyx shafts. I think that would look sick in the Engage wedges!!

Anyone have the DG Tour Issue S400 in the engage? If so how do you like it? I can't imagine it being different feel from the regular S400. Thanks for the input and help!

Overall I love the look and performance of the wedges. The TS is definitely an upgrade compared to last years!!
