If I could continue this line of questions -- now that TT is bringing out a lighter long iron shaft, the temptation to replace at least one hybrid with a driving iron (say, 1-iron length) is growing. You note that an X-100 40.5" shaft will be available. Will a 41" version of the same shaft also come to market?

B- TBD on a 41", right now most of our tour driving iron builds are going on with the 40.5 or 40" parts.

I hit these tonight in new 716 ap2 demo. Looks like they will be a stock offering. They didn't have the tour issue shaft band. They just had regular looking DG band that said AMT S300. Probably the non tour issue version.

I play Nippon Modus 120's and love them. The AMT was nothing like those. Felt similar to S300 and were still low launch for me like regular s300's. I was hitting 7 iron. 716 AP2's were just ok. Would like to try them with Modus. Didn't like the 716 ap2 AMT combo for me.

Another buddy hitting them with me launched them higher and loved the combo. He couldn't stop raving about them. I still think they are very similar to s300's but maybe that changes in the long irons which I didn't hit. I will do more testing when they become more readily available.

The AMTs are designed to perform like the original DG, but with lighter weights, which produces more head speed in the longer irons, which helps generate slightly more launch. This will be more noticeable in the long irons, becoming ever more DG like as you move to the wedge. They are not designed to be higher launching DGs.

Titleist will have exclusive rights to them this fall with the release of their 716 line. The AMT's will be available in Spring 2016 from everyone else.

I think if you read the comments on here. Most have already said it is exclusive to titleist 716 line in November.

Then the rest of the OEMs in 2016.
