Verdae this morning with senior, junior and cousin. Jr MISSES the ball on 1,then tops 2 into the s*** and it didn't get much better. Cuz and Sr were solid.

 

 

Shot if the day was either Sr to 8 inches on 2 almost hole out. Or, me on ??. Par 3 playing 229. I've got 4 iron and a driver in the bag. Reverse L shaped green (front left to back right.) I hit a bunt driver that hit near the pin and rolled out to the fat part. 2 putt par.

 

Just a great course. 60 bucks and they have a web.com tour event there in a few day. Tippies were closed.

Got rained out today and not brave enough to play tomorrow on Mother's Day so drinking the hive approved left hand milk stout while watching The Players, could be worse.

Okay, City. Played a rain soaked Norbeck. First twosome out on the course. 37-39. Made not a putt all day. Lipped out chip for bird on 18. Left every birdie putt short all day, and there were quite a few. No 3 putts. No 4 putts. Baby steps. Turning the ball over all day day, which was one of two things I was working on. Hit a 4 iron off of the tee on 4 to be safe.... Smoked it about 150 into the a hazard k never considered before. Great second, poor chip to 15 feet, missed putt. Dumb double. 10 I hit a shot a foot off of the green and it looked like someone stepped on it. Failed to convert. Stubbed a chip from a foot off of the green on 11. Long story short, struck the ball very well, short game still sucks.

 

I'll let Domes recap his round. He hit the ball well for the most part, I thought. Evnroll might find the chopping block. He's on the verge of turning the corner. Tighten up the short shots and putter and low 80s will be the norm, with some 72s sprinkled in, of course.

 

Norbeck is in money condition right now.

My golf swing sucks so bad right now. No video but had a lesson earlier today at Olney and so bad. Somehow I've picked up some bad tendencies. Crossing the line with wrists hinging too late. Right elbow flares out on backswing. Backswing is pulling my body towards the target. On the downswing my center is so far in front of the balls. Sucks

The range sucks, but they are redoing it and making all grass. Done in 2019 I think. Short game area is really nice.

Boys and I went out to willow springs executive course this am. They both have 7 irons and putters.

 

Pretty muched just liked to hit of tee and putt.

Played 18 this morning at Geneva it's a horrible course but convenient to home, get there at 8:30 guy tells me nothing has been mowed since Tuesday not even the greens and most bunkers are full of water oh well still golf (right)hit the driver good today not so much with irons kept chunking, wedges were good and left alot of putts short.

No kids, wife traveling, my parents not local, celebrated with the in laws last week. Maybe I'll go play.

Played Clemson's Walker course today with Tom and Jerry. I could not miss a putt and split fairways almost all day.

 

Had to actually move the 150 marker TWICE.

 

Had to hit driver into a par 3 again. Hit it over, chipped to 8 feet and that was one of the two putts I missed inside of about 12 feet all day.

 

Didn't see another group on the course all day. Played in 3:10. Dreamy.

 

Nice course.

 

Doubled the first (par 5) after 30 yards out in 2 and played in from there with 4 bogeys and 13 pars.

 

Showered at the course. I'm starting to enjoy that as much as golf. Pretty dingy shower with a used wash cloth hanging on a hook in there. Did not use it.
