Agreed. I love the 5s on the back. They provide so much drama. Who gives a flying F that one guy (Bubba) is actually capable of hitting it OVER the trees on 13, down to a flip wedge into the green. I don't like Bubba, but good on him for being freak enough to hit that shot. Don't punish him for it. That hole is phenomenal exactly the way it is.

During the MLB playoffs, they bring in guys who played that season and they always have great information about facing pitchers, or batters, or whatever.

 

How good would a bitter guy who just got cut be in the booth, talking about green speeds, course conditions, bounces, etc. Imagine Pat Reed missing the cut by one stroke in the booth. Awesome.

 

I think that if a bitter Patrick Reed was in the booth with Jim Nantz the universe would explode.

Last year I made a last minute tee time to play on Sunday afternoon of the masters. Finished just as Jordan was walking up 18. Just couldn't stomach sitting inside on a beautiful day after an extended winter to watch television.

By my calculations, that will allow me to watch the following simultaneous feeds:

-Main CBS stuff on the TV

-Amen corner stream on PC left screen

-15&16 stream on my PC right screen

-Featured group 1 on my ipad

-Featured group 2 on my macbook

 

Unless the Masters adds new feeds this year, this should cover me. Otherwise I may have to go buy a new TV or computer.

A high def stream takes approximately 5 Mbps. I've got about 80 Mbps with Fios, so I figure I'm good to stream all of the Masters streams, plus some Netflix, plus some porn, plus some youtube golf videos all at the same time.

ESPN Classic is going to be running highlight shows from each Masters starting with 1960 on 4/5 through 4/7.

I made the unbelievably stupid decision to take a vacation during Masters week and will be missing most of the tournament. Unlike Domes, I am always incredibly content to sit inside and watch the Masters no matter how nice the weather is.
