Pretty crazy - I was just watching WM X7 on WWE Network and she had a match vs Ivory. I forgot how good she was in the ring and how much she was over with the crowd. She had arguably as loud a pop as Austin or The Rock at that event.

 

It's a shame that she got squashed a bit by WWE Management after HHH and Stephanie started dating and then she burnt whatever bridges were left with her accusations about Vince/Trips.

payback is shaping up great....Zayn vs KO, most likely Ambrose vs Jericho, Vaudevillains vs SAWFT, Reigns vs Styles, Bret Hart making an appearance with Natty, Corbin vs Ziggler, Miz vs Cesaro

If they can add an Apollo Crews match in there i'm going to be really excited for it. I'm confused at what they are doing with him. He has a ton of ability...but has just gotten squash matches

Rumor was he was supposed to stay in NXT for a bit longer 4-5 more months....but i don't believe that anymore with Gallows and Anderson getting screen time on RAW and Balor dropping the title. Too much of a coincidence.

I like the Vaudevillains a lot on the main roster. I didnt think i would....thought they were too gimmicky. But they've softened it up a bit. It's like they are modeling themselves after Daniel Day Lewis's character in "Gangs of new york". Come in wearing the jacket, with mustache...talk like old school tough guys....i kind of like it. It works better on the main roster than being a caricature of an old muscleman comic strip with the old time bikes or something

 

I wonder what they are doing with Apollo Crews. They are feeding him jobber types. He doesn't have a match at Payback unless it's added late as a pre-card which would be a shame. He's a great in-ring talent. I don't know why they'd bring him up this early without a plan....but we'll see.

 

I love the Miz, but i'd like to see Cesaro win the IC belt. He is mega-over now....his return on the post WM raw was one of the best reactions of the year, and that was at 10:45pm when the crowd is tired

I dont see the last one happening but if it did, would they still be cheered? A face using dirty tactics/cheating to win but anyone other than Roman would get them boo'd.

What they are doing with the US Title is a joke. Cena made that a cool belt and defended it well. Now its on back to back pre shows of WM and Payback. Give it to someone who can elevate it like Cesaro or AJ or Owens or Zayn. Just give it to someone who the crowd wants to see and develop some feuds from there.

They promoted Reigns "make a wish grant" yesterday on Raw. Reigns is not turning heel. He's the next Cena who is bood by smart fans, and loved by women and kids

I saw that and am hoping they arent using Make A Wish to maybe make fans cheer him. I had read that a possible turn could happen with Reigns using BC and renaming them Roman Empire (which is so lame) but for sure dont see that happening now. He is going to be the new Cena. I dont mind it really if he can get to where he can a promo half as decent as Cena.

 

Would love to see BC help AJ win the belt and keep that feud going until a couple Raws before SS have a returning Rollins to help out then do a BC vs Shield match at SS. But knowing how things are done, if this goes forward, they would just have Rollins swerve Reigns again. I like Rollins as a face and think his work is a lot better there than as an Authority guy.

I understand that. But the thought won't leave me alone. I actually like Reigns as a "good" guy. Just don't give him the mic too much.

I think that they should allow Reigns to quasi break kayfabe during his promos. Address the crowd, say that he isnt as experienced as some of the other guys but he's in the gym busting his a** every day to be the best, and they can boo him if they want but he's not going away, he's happy to have the fans that he has and he's not going to change..etc etc

 

let him call them out like Cena started doing

Yes, concussion I believe. Hit his head on second rope sliding out of the ring. Ricochet'd his head into the mat. They called the match right away, happened a few minutes in. Very scary

Oh the other thing that was great....which i forgot about. I have a soft spot for heel Ryback as i may have said. I actually think he's a good over the top heel, like a caricature of a villain who throws people around and then laughs like "Bald Bull" in Mike Tyson's punch out....Plus he's really worked hard over the years at getting decent in the ring

 

Him coming in and trolling CM Punk in Chicago was amazing, he also wore trunks that said "the pre-show stopper" in reference to his comments about not liking being on the pre-show

 

He's got a sense of humor, and trolling punk in Chicago is a great way to build heel heat.....hopefully they don't bury him

I'm surprised he didn't win the title from Kalisto. Seems like the type of guy Vince has always pushed.

Cesaro needs the IC title now. He's such a good worker and can have a legit long title run. Make the IC belt mean something again.
