Can't believe you said Aj bores you lol I do like some Cena. Always have. And I think he will lose it. I think Orton is getting rewarded for letting lesnar beat him bloody in that ppv. But just my two cents. Why else would they let an old vet win the rumble when Raw is pushing new talent like craxy

Anyone watch the chamber last night? I felt like it was very predictable with the all the results. Luke Harper stole the show I thought. Maybe a push for him upcoming. Kind of a let down I felt

it ended up pretty much exactly by the book. I watched because i'm a fan and because not much else was on, but pretty much everything according to script except the Bliss/Naomi match.

 

I think sometimes when you have a division that's lacking some punch like the smackdown women, you need to establish a dominant champ and they haven't done that, since they are moving the belt around. I thought Alexa Bliss had been great....but they are going to for sure have a 6 woman match at Mania that will probably move it again. I wish they would've just let Bliss run with it for like a 7-8 months

 

Would not surprise me if a 3rd person gets added to Wyatt / Orton. I like the matchup, it just seems crazy that in a year where Ambrose/Miz/Styles/Cena really carried Smackdown for a big part of it, none of them are involved in the championship picture

I actually went to bed early last night and missed most of raw. Read the highlights. Enzo and Cass are gold out of the ring but dang Enzo is just gonna have to get better in the ring before they can make a serious run at the tag titles. KO and Jericho had a good segment I read. It's getting intense leading up to WM. And I'm torn between bayley and Charlotte. My eyes love Charlotte but my heart loves bayley. And you're right about Jericho. The man has been great for the last 20 years and stayed healthy in the mean time. It's truly amazing to sit and think about all he has done and how long he has done it

I really enjoyed Corbin's beatdown of Ambrose at the elimination chamber. Looks like they have set that up for Mania.

Read Raw's results this morning, glad I didn't watch it. Sounds like the best part was the Owens turn on Jericho.

Let me guess Charlotte wins the rematch against Bayley at the PPV to continue her PPV win streak. So sick of that belt yo-yoing back and forth.

That was Alexa's best promo to date. Stupid ending with the booking of both men hitting the floor at the same time. I get the point of it, they need to see Harper in another big match (vs Styles) before fully launching him into the championship match at Mania.

It was just hilarious because they were clearly trying to set it up for like 2 minutes, and then botched it horribly. They hit the ground like 3 seconds apart haha

After another night of smackdown being great and raw being meh. Let me start off by saying I love Alexa Bliss. I have no clue how I never thought she wasn't the hottest thing in wrestling. Charlotte is still high just because of her body.

 

Finally Orton went on Bray. But where does this take wrestlemania? Styles being the number one contender and Orton no longer with bray. Does it make it a 3 way for the title? I would have enjoyed Harper winning over AJ and then Orton turning on bray would have been a better story line. The Miz and Cena had a good little skit. Rumors are they actually have a little beef with each other so it makes it better but not sure to the truth.

 

I think Ambrose will put Corbin over the top. He needs to get pushed more. I think the WWE is missing out on some newer guys. Like him, Corbin, apollo. They were quick to give Balor the title but no one else is getting much time in the spot light.

 

And while I'm on it. I hate when wrestlers come back just for wrestlemania. The rock said he was making an appearance and I just feel like that's so played out every year and it takes time away from a young upcoming star.

 

But they didn't have any surprise old wrestlers in the royal rumble so maybe wrestlemania will follow the same suit

I have been so out of the loop. I spent all of Tuesday sitting in airports and on runways due to the weather systems in the central regions.

Read that the Hardy's are in talks for a WWE return. But over the past couple of nights they won the ROH tag titles from the Young Bucks. So who knows what they're going to do.

Just got around to watching it, i had missed the end of RAW that week. That must've been the most unexpected really entertaining match of the year. I mean i was really into it and i can't remember the last time i've said that about a Big Show match. I remember his match with Reigns which was a last man standing after Wrestlemania two years ago was decent....but still.

 

Anyway, respect to Big Show for at like 45 and being massive, still doing this. He just did an interview where he said he's in as good a shape as he's been in a while

 

As for Strowman, he really showed some superior agility for a guy as huge as him. And he's a legit strongman who can pick up anyone in the WWE like they are nothing. I'm excited for his match with Reigns tonight. I still think he's going to need to work his character a bit, because eventually he's going to need to talk, and maybe even have a bit of a face run.

 

But all in all it was really good

 

BTW i have heard Strowman is a very very nice guy, and fun to work with

Totally pumped for fast lane! Tons of good matches. They all will be interesting and pave the way to wrestlemania!

I was not impressed with Fastlane. Reigns and Strowman had a good match. Joe and Zayn was fine, Joe is so good inside that ring. Goldberg got a huge pop, so that's a good sign still. The rest of the show just seemed blah to me.

Yeah it was pretty much a let down. Charlotte is getting such a raw deal. She's head and heels above any other female in the ring but she continues to lose. And her ppv streak ended at fastlane? Come on let her build it up and end the streak at mania.

 

The battle of this big dogs was pretty good. Strowman showed he can pull of some moves other than just slinging people around. Not sure why he lost after months of dominating the roster.

 

You're definitely right about joe. He should have been called up years ago. He's the best big man in the business. I can see him getting a title run pretty soon after Maina.

 

The whole goldberg situation is getting on my nerves. Sure he's a hit with the fans but I guess over his 15 year break he still hasn't learned how to wrestle and they have to have 30 second matches. Hopefully whoever bray faces at mania will be the main event instead of goldberg and lesnar

They are protecting and building Goldberg up with these squash matches to add to the prestige of the universal title and Lesnar finally conquering him at WM. I know some people aren't on board with a Goldberg/Lesnar title match at WM, but I am behind it. In my opinion I think when you have Goldberg/Lesnar main eventing WM, the WWE will receive more mainstream media attention over what could have been a Owens/Jericho Universal Title match.

Now we just need Undertaker to show up on Raw and lay down the challenge to Reigns, was expecting him to get involved last night but that didn't happen.

I really expected Charlotte to win. Like the post above, not sure why Strowman wasn't booked to win. It would have added to his monster persona. Of course you couldn't have Reigns lose and then push him vs Undertaker. Lose lose either way.

I thought the surprise of the night was Reigns winning clean against Strowman. That was shocking....Strowman had been built as an unstoppable beast almost impossible to even knock down, never pinned, never submitted....And Reigns (who i like BTW, i'm like his only fan i think sometimes) just beats him clean in the middle of the ring with no interference....at Fastlane

 

I mean i get making Reigns look good if he's going up against the Undertaker which is a career defining type thing. But talk about taking some of the steam out of the Strowman train. I didn't think it was necessary. Undertaker interfering in a hardfought match would've made more sense

 

Reigns is going to be booed mercilessly tonight. They are in Chicago which is the smarkiest group of smarks in all of smarkland.

 

The Charlotte / Bayley bookings are kind of stunty, because the good guys are the ones cheating. I guess i like it....I just don't like Bayley . But it's different i guess

 

Kind of weird that they only gave Zayn/Joe a limited amount of time , on a show that needed filler because the main event was only 29 seconds. Would you rather have watched a 30 minute Zayn match or Rusev and Jinder Mahal doing stuff?

Not surprised at all that Fastlane sucked. That's Raw right now. I woulda bet the house that Reigns beat Strowman, that's what they do push Roman to the moon. The only good matches were Joe/Zayn and Neville/Gallagher. Goldberg is a joke, a 50 y/o part timer is your champ going into the biggest show of the year. I ask myself all the time why I still watch, I guess it's just instinct to watch. The roster as,a whole is very good but they still book garbage most of the time. Get off my lawn!!!

 

P.S. the best part of Fastlane was Charly Caruso, love her

^^^ good point about Neville and Gallagher, i forgot to mention that.

 

My friend texted me that it was the first cruiserweight match he was really into. Sometimes it's true what Vince says, about grabbing the brass ring. At the end of the day Jack Gallagher built a character that is genuinely interesting and fun in the ring, and Neville of course has established his pedigree as a great wrestler. It was a fun match and the promo leading up to it where Neville called Gallagher a caricature was very well done
