The Miz's mic skills are on par with anyone in the company's ring work. His 2016-2017 promos to date should be in the hall of fame.

 

There's honestly no one in the wwe right now who is as entertaining outside of actual matches. He has taken it to another level

He's been on fire for awhile now. And he's a really underrated wrestler.

 

Can't wait to see who AJ gets for mania. It's looking like Shane but idk if that's gonna be much of an story to build in just a couple weeks.

 

Smackdown women's title is gonna be a dang free for all which actually might be pretty interesting match.

 

And before I forget I really wish ziggler was still at the top. They pushed him after the spilt and now he's fell completely down the list. I figured once they made him heel he would get some big match chances but it's not looked that way.

 

And another note. If you haven't watched the last CM Punk clip you need to. It's where Cena is in a match and he comes out and ruins it and grabs a mic and sits on the runway and just bashes everyone until they cut his mic off. Pretty dang funny

Disappointed Shane is wrestling AJ at WM. Hes the best on the planet right now and deserves a better match. Wondering if Shane will find a way to win since he lost at the last WM, that would give AJ losses at his first two WM.

 

Read an article that Lesnar was supposed to wrestle Shane at WM but he was able to get out of that. Just wondering what the Goldberg/Lesnar result will be. I heard Goldberg is signed/signing on thru next WM and Lesnar has added a bunch of dates since he retired from UFC. Would love to actually see Lesnar wrestle on Raw a few times instead of just standing there and F-5ing people. Give him a decent match and see the reaction.

Goldberg is going to get old real fast if he can't actually wrestle at all. So I'm interested in Wrestlemania just to see if he can have a match longer than 5 minutes.

 

Shane /aj will probably have some killer spots at least, but that's probably it. Between those spots we'll get to watch a lot of alligator armed punches

 

Still also curious what the plan is post mania for the champ. With ratings what they are the belt is going to be on at least a partial part timer

I was really upset wit goldberg after fastlane. He acted like it was such a big deal for him to win the belt and all that. They already know what's gonna happen months before but I'm usually ok wit people celebrating and what not but come on man. You didn't even wrestle to win the belt. That was my biggest thing with all of it. I've never been a goldberg fan though even in the wcw glory days.

 

Give me mid 90s Sting over any wrestler probably ever.

I was a huge Goldberg fan back in his WCW days but they have watered him down a bit. Prob just nitpicking but I want the fireworks to wait until hes standing in them before setting off, I hate how he has to high five and wink at kids coming down the aisle (I get why and that hes older but I miss his old walk down). While he was never a great wrestler in WCW, he could at least put on a decent match. His matches with Steiner, Sid, DDP, and even Hogan were decent compared to what hes doing today. In his two matches, that have lasted 2 minutes, I have only seen 3 spears and 2 jackhammers.

Whoa Whoa Whoa SPOILER ALERT...havent seen that movie yet!!

 

Anyways, what are the odds that Brock actually wrestles a match on RAW? Im tired of seeing him just stand there bouncing while Heyman cuts a promo. I went back and watched his Summerslam match with CM Punk from 2013 and it was a good match. Would love to see him wrestle once in a while on TV.

 

Also, who is going to be the new Raw GM? Angle? No way they keep Foley after last night. And what are odds on Rollins making WM?

I wonder about Rollins. They may have had HHH "injure" his knee again yesterday to keep him out because he isn't ready or in case. Maybe they'll set up stables again and do like Zayn/balor vs HHH/Joe. And then if Rollins is OK maybe there's interference etc. At house shows Zayn and balor have tagged against Owens and HHH.

 

I thought Reigns promo was pretty heelish yesterday. I really think you get a more formal turn at Wrestlemania.

Im not looking forward to that match. Worried about Undertaker's health. He didnt look good at RR and hopefully is healed up by WM. Im indifferent on Reigns, maybe he could make a good heel, I dunno. I think he has decent matches but am not a fan of his Superman punch/spear finisher combo, especially with the ohhhhaahhhhh in the corner, seems like he still stuck with all his antics from the shield.

 

Wonder when the next draft will be. Should be after mania but how long after? And who will be the big names to swap brands. I can see Cena staying at SD but will AJ or Orton come to Raw? Zayn I think for sure switches. SD is running out of feuds and desperately needs some help in the Tag division. Raw's tag division is doing fine with The Club, Ceasaro/Sheaumus, Enzo/Cass, and New Day. May need to bring up some from NXT.

I seen a highlight thing where Brock and KO were in a match. Might have been a dark match or whatever they call true matches they have after the live show. Gives the fans who are there another match or two with big stars. I remember reading Cena and Styles had a dang heck of a match after smackdown went off one night.

 

And I don't think there will be a draft anytime soon. Story lines are set for awhile. At least the next couple months.

 

And I read before where HHH wants NXT to be its own brand. Like have raw smackdown and NXT. But who knows. A lot of my die hard wrestling buddies swear by the NXT.

 

Reigns is getting more and more cheers. They just don't want you to hear them or see them. I think he's gonna be a great heel.

 

Zayn will get his chance on raw sooner or later. He has put so many guys over that he's gotta get a big payback at some point

 

Can't wait to see smackdown tonight. It's gotta be AJ and Shane at wrestlemania. There's no no else left on the roster lol

Draft is rumored to be sometime after Mania. Maybe not right away but not to long after. Unless Vince changes his mind on things.

I think they love Zayn. I mean he's limited in that it's not like they are going to make him WWE champ next week or something because his character is definitely better as an "underdog". But he makes people look amazing, and behind the scenes i know he really works with them on doing it like a true pro.

 

I believe that when he was scripted to work with Strowman he was a bit concerned at first that he was just going to get squashed repeatedly, but i have heard a lot of the angles in that feud were pitched by him, and it worked out great. He ended up looking like a never give up fighter, and he achieved this while still making Braun look like a monster. It worked for both of them, Zayn never quitting while Braun looked unbeatable (Foley coming out and ending matches achieved both of this). I think Zayn showed in that feud how valuable he was. Because he got over while getting another guy over. It was really perfectly done and i have heard that he went from being skeptical at first to embracing the role. I think the brass sees how valuable that is

 

I think he will eventually get a moment or two. But there's been rumors floated that he is in the doghouse or whatever, i think it's total BS. I think they love Zayn and he's had an amazing 6 months. I would be shocked if he didn't get a US title run shortly after Mania as a reward for his work.

As far as Reigns i think a heel turn would be absolutely fascinating. Do fans hate him? Or do they hate the WWE for force feeding him as a Cena replacement? Which one is it? If he speared Undertaker after the match or something would they cheer? If he came in to a new theme like the Usos did and ditched the Shield gear would he get cheered? All of this is up in the air.

 

I think he is a very good wrestler, he's been insanely durable and he most definitely has the look. It makes sense that they love him company-speaking.

 

I mean if he was a surprise "authority" guy, aligning with Joe and HHH as the leader of that stable or something. I mean that would be nuclear....Heck have HHH break the 4th wall like Smackdown does every week and just admit that they love Roman and he is going to main event whether they like it or not.

Define fake and staged...are winners pre determined?? Most of the time yes, but I think there are a few instances where it has been changed right before they go on or even in the ring. Do they have an idea of what moves are happening before they happen? Yes, they go over the match with each other beforehand and will "call spots" during the action. But do the punches and moves hurt? Yes, nothing feels great about taking a forearm to the side of the face, even if its not full force it still hurts. People can get hurt doing routine things.

 

We (viewers) dont always know what is going to happen. I watch for the enjoyment. Its like a soap opera for guys. I loved wrestling when I was a kid so theres a little nostalgia for me to still watch it but I do enjoy many of the aspects of it. If you want to watch a real fight, I suggest UFC or Boxing. If you dont watch because its fake and scripted, then I guess you dont watch tv or movies.

Smackdown and RAW are such different shows it's amazing. Other than the GOAT, Chris Jericho (i am already dreading him leaving on his music tour) there are very few decent promos on raw, they are often kind of dated, and use language that just no one uses ....I still cringe at when Vince made Roman say Tater Tots over and over to Sheamus in late 2016. If the action on RAW isn't good, the show basically sucks

 

Meanwhile Smackdown's promos are amazing. They must have different writers and less approval needed from Vince on language and catch phrases. Todays segments where Miz and Maryse made fun of total bellas were hilarious. I honestly can't even remember the last time Miz actually wrestled. It almost doesn't matter

 

There's rumors they want to shake things up and maybe move AJ Styles to Raw. That would be fine with me. Styles is all action. He'd be good on RAW. If they move him there for guys that can talk (like the new day) it might make both shows better

Miz is great right now. I cracked up at his Cena impersonation. Maryse looked GREAT!! Makes me wonder if Cena proposes at WM with all the jokes they keep making. Jericho is always golden. Im gonna miss him when he goes on tour. Would love to see him and Miz with a title reign. Would love to see one of them the champ and make a match between Jericho and Miz and just listen to the promos. That would be great.

Raw was ok...Jericho making fun of KO from when KO was a teenager, Nia Jax beat Bayley so shes in the WM womens champ match and its a fatal fourway now, Reigns fought Braun to end Raw and Undertaker comes out and stares him down, winds up chokeslamming Braun and eats a spear from Reigns...Im not sure how well Taker holds up in WM match

 

Smackdown was great...Usos beat AA to get tag team belts, they did a spoof of total bellas with Miz and Maryse playing John and Nikki and it was hilarious, Orton gets beat up by a bunch of people wearing lamb masks then Bray, Shane calls out AJ who comes down, they wrestle and Shane "hits" an elbow on AJ on the announce table from the top turbuckle, but in reality it looked like he missed the elbow and kinda dinged himself up a bit but they played it off well
