I agreed stroman is a beast but he just can't wrestle. And that drives me crazy.

Reigns and Joe both are on fire right now. I'm loving what Joe has brought to the table since being brought from NXT.

 

As bad as I hate Lesnar he looked really really good at great balls or fire.

 

Bray Wyatt has the worst record ever. Is it about time for him to try something different?

 

Still waiting on Finn to get a shot at the belt he never lost.

 

Really upset that they spilt up Enzo and Cass just for cass to go against the big show

Finn needs to stay far far away from the title picture. Dude should be no where near Lesnar, Joe, Reigns, Stroman. The IC title/ Miz is where I think Finn should be .

I just seem to never be able to get interested knowing this is fake and staged. What makes this exciting for you guys that like wwe?

Just the entertainment factor. If you give it a chance it's really fun. Just like on here before, you go to the movies and watch an action movie and you basically know the ending

Exactly, it's a live action movie.

 

Obviously movies are scripted and we still watch them.

No way. Finn is a top 5 guy. Give it some time and see. HHH is pushing for his NXT guys to get what they deserve. If you don't think Finn can't hang you haven't watched any of his NXT stuff with Joe

I guess I look at it as a sport. A predetermined outcome does not interest me. I guess I can see how someone looks at wwe as a movie and not a sport. Just not for me.

They actually go out of their way (it's kind of annoying actually lol) to call it "sports entertainment" as much as possible. They never call it a sport directly really

 

Also it's only slightly more fixed than the NBA was this season

If done right, Finn vs Bray could be a great storyline.

Finn gonna bring out the demon king and demolish bray but it's ok.

 

Almost tired of the whole strowman and reigns saga. Dean and Rollins are back just get reigns back in it

So, now that John Jones has called out Lesnar for a UFC showdown in the future, I wonder how much longer he stays in WWE at all?

 

I'm a big fan of him, having lived in ND, MN and a Vikings fan - loved his early WWE days the most. Kinda frustrating with his contract having him only show up for PPV events to compete, and the occasional RAW show as a disruptor.

 

I know in the super heavies of UFC, he needs to be around 265lbs - which is lighter than he usually is for WWE.

 

My last favorite guy of the 285-310 lbs range was Dave Batista - but he definitely has moved on.

Brock will stay in WWE as long as they still pay him big $$ to work 30 times per year or whatever it is. If he really wants to fight Bones Jones they will work something out with UFC like they did for his fight at 200. Personally I think Jones would destroy him.

I did watch NXT. How people people were "over" in NXT and been flops on the MR? Finn belongs in 205. Plus I want him to fight Neville!

If Alexa Bliss's entrance wasn't the sexiest PG thing in all of television i would almost would not forgive him

Only one I think could be a swerve is the Universal...Brock still has a bit to go on his current contract but Im guessing he is for sure gonna fight Jones in UFC. I could see them taking the title off him to get it back on tv for now then in a few months bring Brock back with a new contract or something. I wish they would have him do more dates and maybe actually wrestle on Raw every so often. I hate seeing him wrestle only a handful of times a year.

Followed Summerslam on twitter. Sounded like a good PPV for the most part. Lots of title changes and the main event 4-way must have been pretty awesome.

Main event was amazing and a surprise finish for sure.

 

Usos v new day on the preshow was the second best match of the night. Maybe even the best match.

I did see a pic of the crowd during the Hardys match. Wow. No one was seated yet. Doesn't make sense. One guy posted that they didn't open the doors until 5...exactly when the preshow started.

Spot of the night was Cesaro going into the crowd and grabbing and popping the beach ball. So good. I missed the preshow. The 4 way was very well done. WWE title match was disappointing.

So now that i am home and not on my phone my random thoughts in no order....

 

- again, the Usos vs New Day was maybe the best overall match of the night. Kevin Owens tweeted during the preshow from Brooklyn how good it was. I had food in the oven because i figured who cares it's the preshow and i burned it, because i didn't want to get up LOL

-The Usos heel turn has been one of the best gimmick changes recently, they are awesome

-Most of the matches sucked, overall one of the lesser summerslams i can recall. Even KO and Styles was only good. And for them that is a bit dissapointing.

-Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks was quite good. Alexa Bliss is like a 10.5 on the hotness scale too

-The tag team scenes are great, i mentioned smackdown. The shield reunion is super over and Cesaro/Sheamus have taken what they were given (which no one liked at first) and are owning it. Their gimmick is great....and Cesaro officially won summerslam when he went into the crowd

-RAW is probably too loaded with talent with Cena going there.

-Braun Strowman is the most over guy in WWE

-Jinder is like the Miz, great act, nice entrance, very uninteresting in the ring

-Orton vs Rusev....why?

-Did Corbin really piss someone off?

 

I wonder what they do next. Interested in seeing Strowman's next angle. And interested in seeing if Reigns gets involved in the Shield angle

Had my hopes up for a Shield reunion in the Main Event (Ambrose + Rollins coming out to help Reigns win).

 

I think the most frustrating thing about WWE right now is the recycling and reuse of things. Jinder's matches are all identical... Singh brothers interfere, Jinder hits finisher, Jinder escapes with victory. It's quite unoriginal after having seen it so many times with his Orton fued.

 

It's a shame that the Big Show vs Big Cass match got so much time. It was such a slow and uninteresting match.

 

Baron Corbin's backstage heat must be real given how hard he's been buried the last few weeks from dusting off his MITB briefcase and then losing to Cena in a pretty uneventful way.

 

The Main Event at SS was epic. It was exactly what it needed to be - pure destruction.

 

The Brooklyn crowd sucks.
