I love the G400! I picked one up to hold me over until I could get my hands a LST! I'm so amazed at how forgiving and easy to hit fairways with. The stock set up kills my Epic. I can't wait to test it against the LST.

I walked in to a golf galaxy and picked up an LS Tec from the shelf. They had 5 or 6 of them. I'm using the shaft from my G but it's crazy that these are backordered some places and sitting on the shelves other places... Also it was about 5 yards longer than the G and significantly straighter.

The Epic for me was long as anything. I just hit it all over the place. lol That is why I went back to the M2. M2 moved a little too much for me right to left but the PING is on a string

I, myself am still patiently waiting. Having Will Peoples build me a G400 LST w/ Fuji Atmos blue 6x combo... Beyond excited to try it out soonish hopefully. :dntknw:

Do we know for sure what the problem is with them? I've heard a lot of speculation but nothing definitive. Also, I need to know which piece is going to fly off. :)

Despite being very late to the party, let me say those Nike putters look awesome. I have a B1-14 Origin myself which might count as a prototype since it was never sold to the public and I really like it. It's a shame they stopped.

Man I moved twice in the last 6 months. And have been working on my swing. I went the GG route and got all screwed up lol. So I’ve been using the Srixons because of the the size of the blade. But now that my game is back I’m moving on to something else. Just went back to swinging the club and my scores are almost back to where they were before.

I went into this whole Artisan putter thing unintentional. Last year Mike Taylor reached out to me and mentioned he had some new projects he was working before he announced "Artisan Golf". It just so happened that I was going to be in TX so I was pretty excited to stop by and see him. He showed me some samples he was working on for wedges and was and is from what I know still in the process of finding the perfect forging for his wedges. That is where he introduced me to John Hatfield, who is co partner with him at Artisan Golf and wanted to show me some putter prototypes he was working on. At the time it was one putter, similar to what you see here the 0117. I went into the initial testing with objective mind that I would give constructive criticism. During the testing I was happy with the look of the putter and also the S bend neck option on the 0117. They only thing I didn't care for with the putters is the back end is stepped with small lines, vs smooth. Hopefully in the future they offer a smooth non stepped version. I compared side by side for about an hour with a Circle T Scotty Cameron they had at the shop. One thing I particularly liked about the Artisan putter is the fact on mishits I was able to feel impact on a solid stroke and also the difference when I hit it on the heel of the putter which is usually my mistake I make when I miss stroke it. I was really happy with the feel of the putter. I also like the fact that you could pretty much customize anything you wanted on the putter. I went with soften bumpers and I initially ordered the blue finish from them, but halfway through taking it from stainless to blue, John stumbled on this finish now called the Chameleon. It is a high buff finish that actually changes colors depending on the lighting outside. Some days it looks purple, some blue, some brown. Pictures do it now justice. I putted really well with the putter when I took it to Pebble Beach. With Artisan they take weight out the hosel and move it towards the center of the putter. This is a 330 gram model. 34.75 inches with very little offset.

 

After playing it for a few rounds I noticed that the length is shorter from the hosel to the back of the putter, compared to my other TW putters. Also with the S bend the hosel makes the shaft lean farther away from the ball. This resulted in me being slightly too far away from the ball. My son on the other hand fits this thing perfectly. So it ended up in his bag with me stealing it here and there when we play. All in all, the build is excellent on the putter, the feel gives me the best feedback I've had with a blade putter. It was my mistake ordering the S bend. But there is another one in the making that should be arriving this month.

 

Also one cool thing is you get a customer number your first order. With that customer number they keep record of all of your data for clubs ordered and you get it stamped on each and all the equipment you order from Artisan. Thought that was a pretty cool idea.

I think they start at 875 depending on customization. Extra custom artwork lasering is more for like personal logos and stuff.

I'm dead hahaha. Far from the case. I had to downsize to an American Car :slow_en: Plus you can actually drive through my neighborhood without having to show ID to security! :busted_cop:

Def not cheap, but for the handwork that he put into it and the attention to detail making sure it is right I think its pretty fair. I feel like I got my money's worth. It rolls very pure and better than some of the Oven putters I have. Excluding the ones Franklin made me. But I a few first run Ovens and also Francisco Molinari's 006 and this rolls better than that.

Honestly would be very surprised to see anything in play on the PGA tour. They don't have the resources to support getting them in the hands and money to pay anyone to play. But I would think we would see something on the college level and mini tour level. They want to bring a tour experience and tour level quality to the average golfers that is their focus. Stamping is my license plate PAR5ZN2 and FIRSTRUN is just the first run of putters. They are doing a special headcover for the first 10 people that got a putter. I haven't got the head cover yet.
