Just got off of the phone with Golf Galaxy who got off of the phone with Ping...apparently mine are shipping today and I got a UPS tracking # (which isn't active yet, but I will be checking it like a hawk to make sure it goes active later on). So maybe there's hope for everyone who preordered the PX's

Arriving at my door today. PING tweeted these to me this afternoon. Best service and irons in the biz imho. These are game changing. Demo them and get fit if you have the chance. With the G30 woods and now these, I cannot fathom better product from them. But then again, they always outdo themselves! Bravo!

I saw the 7 iron for the first time today. WOW. Much better looking in person than the pictures. I love my i25s but I can see these going in the bag for sure next season if not sooner. Great looking irons and if they are better feeling and more forgiving like some are saying they have to be a home run.

Wow, those are impressive gains. As someone who loves their i20s, I was kind of hoping to see only minimal improvements from switching to iE1s so I didn't have to go buy them, but this has me intrigued. Are there any other i20 players who have seen similar results going from i20s to iE1s?
[/quote]Looking at his post he said that his I20's were terribly off from his specs. I think the yardage gains is more about that than the I series being that much better, but you never know. I have some S55's that may be put on the block now...........

I have I20's and looking to upgrade. Unfortunately I need to move to a stiff graphite shaft fom KBS due to arthritis. Could Ping get D1 in longer and D2 swing weight in the lower irons? How good or bad are their stock graphite shafts?

Well I finally made my obligatory PING-freak order as well. Went with the Z-Z65 shaft again. I have no expectations that they will be better than any of the other similar PING irons I have played. The PING virus made me do it.

Someone just had their irons set at D3. So, I would assume they could do D2 for you.

It would be easier if your standard length is longer but call and inquire with them.

[/quote]Did they get D3 in the graphite? And there is no way I want my irons to be longer than "standard" (old standard I guess). The specs on these are .25 longer than my standard I20. I don't want that at all. I will call them but do you think they could still achieve the D2 with the graphite shaft and the .25 shorter? Also, do you know anything about their stock graphite shaft? I have hit some Mizuno's Orochi shaft in stiff and really liked those. thanks.

It must be nice to be able to play your clubs. I must say I'm pretty dissatisfied with Pings handling of my order so far. I ordered 4-u back July 22. I was told maybe Aug 20th do to a high number of orders. Then the 18th I had my rep call and they said they had to wait on the PX 6.0 shafts because they were out and that was the real reason for the delay. Then I was given Aug 25th. Now the 25th I was told the shafts still haven't come in and maybe around the 28th. It's pretty amazing a big name company can't get a shipment of shafts in. I'm betting I don't sniff them till at least Sept.

Unfortunately, I was fitted into the 6.0 too, so I guess I'll be waiting with everyone. I was so stoked about it then Denver popped my ballon

I agree 100% it's poor planning to be out of a "stock" shaft from the moment you released a club.

HAHAHA me too dude. Did three fittings -- two indoors and one on grass. All came DGS 300 (which is what I had in i5s). Now I wait for UPS like an addict -- hitting F5 on the tracking page every half hour waiting for this: 08/26/2015 9:00 Departure Scan

I don't see how they couldn't have prepared for it. If you offer free upgraded shafts.. 9 times out of 10 those will be chosen.

Sweet! I hope you enjoy them! I had Project X 6.0 in my Ansers. I'm glad I didn't try to order them with those shafts after reading about all of these guys waiting for theirs. I ordered them Monday with Z-Z65 shafts and they shipped today.

First post from an avid UK based GolfWRX member but wanted to tell you about my experience with PING UK

Currently using S55 4-PW with Project X 5.5 which are just great clubs but after several hours practicing in the last week with an iE1 demo 7 iron fitted with the Nippon Modus shaft I've fallen in love with the look, feel, performance and forgiveness of these clubs so decided to take the plunge and placed the order for 4-PW red dot with the stiff Modus

My pro confirmed the order with PING UK 10am yesterday morning (Tuesday) - got a call from him at 5pm today (Wednesday) to say my clubs had arrived!

Can't wait to get out with them this weekend and just wanted to say a big thank you to PING UK for their excellent customer service

Played my first round with these yesterday and wow they are impressive. I got them with the Modus 105 shafts and I love the high, but piercing flight for my swing. A highlight was an uphill, into the wind par 3 that was playing about 145. I hit an 8 iron (which I typically hit 150 if level and no wind) and I landed precisely pin high about 15 feet left of the hole. The funny part is the course is very dry, yet the ball STUCK. I mean no bounce/roll out at all. (So what if a 3-jack followed?) I can see myself being able to always attack pins with this combo.
