Isn't the driver swing the same as every other swing you make- your swing faults and misses are the same, just amplified because it's a longer club and swinging it faster.

That's how this stuff works SA790, a professional tells you what to do and you go work on doing it right. If there wasn't anything to say on the subject I'm sure Monte would have saved Big Chucks Video Editing and Taco Truck LLC. a few months of their time.

I think you are probability right to a certain extent and that's probably part of the reason why so many people are excited about the video, they want a "Monte golf swing video". I just want it to come out so I can get to scratch and start competing with JonesScott on the Monday Qualifying circuit. We all probably have our own reason like that.

I could not disagree more. While chipping, pitching, irons and FW are related as they are all "hit off the deck." Driving (along with putting) is a different game within the game. The ball on a tee versus off the ground. The length of the club. The overall physics of the clubhead. The purpose of a driver (and the psychology behind it) versus other clubs...

 

There's a lot to learn. Monte's just the guy to deliver it!

I think I have tried every Monte tip he's put out and I just can't ever make them work. I hate that as I think they are all very good and would help me a lot. Unfortunately it's me, not the tips. I've been taking lessons for over 2 years from a great coach and I'm shooting 10 to 15 shots worse per round than when I started. I'm a horrible student. I'll still pick up the video though as my driving is horrible.

 

This game will break me. It's not a matter of if, but when...
