Course- Sedgefield Country Club, 7,127 yards, par 70. With its small, undulating greens, Sedgefield opened in 1925 and is the only regular PGA TOUR stop played on a Donald Ross design. Sedgefield was one of two courses used for the inaugural Greater Greensboro Open in 1938, later alternating as host before a 16-year run from 1961-76. The 1965 edition was the last of Sam Snead’s record 82 TOUR victories, and Sedgefield also was the site of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s founding in 1953. In 2008, the TOUR’s annual Greensboro stop returned to its roots after a 31-year hiatus.

Not a huge fan but I think Webb Simpson is going to win his 2nd Wyndham Championship this weekend.

interesting factoid for me, as a golfer who plays a Donald Ross course (public course) as his home course that this is the only DR course as a regular tour stop.

How fast will they have the greens? When our greens get fast they can be unplayable from certain spots, or with certain pin placements.

We had quite a downpour here last night, along with periods of rain earlier in the week, so the greens will not be too fast, and they should hold quite well. It could be a birdie-fest, even more than normal.

The good news is that the weather is supposed to clear and be brilliant the rest of the week, so by the weekend there may be some speed to the greens. They replaced a ton of turf due to the winterkill issue we had earlier in the year. The course looks great now.

Heading out this afternoon. I'll miss you know who today, but if he makes the cut maybe I'll see him this weekend.

I miss Kemau as well, but nice job 360.

Paul was measured at 5'11" 3/4.
