Nike footwear 2016

Tried on the FI Premiere and while the boot was a bit snug at the start, it wasnt too bad to get on. Nice shoe, felt comfortable.

 

Also tried on the Lunar Fires. It was more like a "meh" shoe for me. Not really comfy, looks ok on the feet.

 

Now I was that wolf grey / black LC4 coming out...

I mean, it is not a piece of garbage, just no up to my expectations for a shoe with that price, and a goofy a** fit. I would have to go down a full size, or size and a half, but no way they would be wide enough at that point. The width is fine now in the "wide", but fits like a clown shoe.

 

The Bandon's feel like they were molded from my foot, freakin crazy. I heard about zipper issues, will see with time, but they are not "tight" zipping up.

 

So umm, any on foot photos of the zoom attack? or are they already on their way back to where you got em' from lol

I got home from my trip today, big Nike package waiting with Lunar Bandon 3's, and the new Zoom Attack.

 

Bandon's are sweet fit perfect.

 

 

What in the hell is going on with the Zoom Attack? Why is the shoe (in the same size as my other Nike's) like 1 1/2" too long. Seriously, WTF is this? These are nowhere near anything Nike as far as sizing, what a damn joke.

 

Yuck, seems cheap, can't get them returned fast enough. This is a $175 shoe. you have got to be kidding me. I would pay $350 for a pair of Premiere's before I would pay $175 for this. I am insulted and only paid $132.

 

Wait, didn't you order your Bandon's from Golfsmith during the 25% off sale? Mine haven't even shipped. And now it's showing 2 pairs of Lunar Bandon's on my order for some godforsaken reason. I gotta e-mail them and find out what's going on.

 

Ugh, I see the Bandon's aren't even listed on their site anymore. I'm going to be annoyed if I didn't get a pair shipped and they ran out, especially since I bought them using a gift card, I don't need anymore dang GS credit.

i agree with Warrick to a point. I wear a size 13 in all Nike shoes and yes they are a little long in the toe area, but they didn't feel any different size wise to me than any other Nike golf shoe I own. My foot was not sliding back and forth and the heel stayed locked in.I walked the course the day I got them and they felt very comfortable. I bought 2 pair and the Pure Platinum/Wolf Grey/Cool Grey/Metallic Silver finally shipped and will be getting them on Tuesday.

Golfsmith of course is having a nice little sale and I wanted to finally buy a pair of Lunar Force shoes and no longer there dang it.

 

But I noticed they have two new colorways in Chukkas listed on their website. The teal one looks really awesome

Yep, wore them this morning in the rain, great shoe for foul weather/mud.

Newbie here, just found the site and all because of one topic...this one!! Sick Nike golf fan, especially the kicks, and loved finding this thread as I'm constantly on the look out for what's new/coming and where to find the best deals.

 

Thanks to all those who have contributed to this thread in particular, great info.

 

Just got my Zoom Fires yesterday and gave them their first session. I'm not a huge fan of the newer stuff, Lunar etc., so the throwback Zoom style making a comeback is exactly what I've been hoping for, especially once Tiger revived the platform after his last comeback. Also saw that a new sweet pair of Attacks just dropped on NDC in a black and white colorway, but only in wide, which seems strange. Hoping they will be in the standard Medium soon because that look is a must have for me.

 

One question, what's the deal with the kicks TW was sporting at the last clinic? Found the pics on here in earlier posts, awful looking stuff from what I could see but wondering if anyone has any more info yet or a drop date?

 

Thanks again, I will get my profile made out and try to be a regular contributor, because this is a topic near and dear to my heart. Too much so my wife would say!!

 

BTW, I wanted to post some pics but haven't figured out how yet as I only see a button for URL. Will figure it out eventually and update with pics.

I would say the max 90s are more comfortable. I had the chukka but were too narrow for me. The 90s are hands down most comfortable golf shoe I've owned thus far

Interesting....liked the Chukka's but was worried they were too wide n clunky for me, I prefer mine as and minimal as possible. Saw a few pics on players and they still seemed a bit bulky to me, not thin at all, so I was writing them off. Thanks for the info, they are back on the 'maybe' list. Gonna have to hunt some down and try them on now I suppose, which is usually a precursor to bad things happening next!!

I'd like to add that I'm a Chukka owner and love them, but I will say that I just tried on some of the 90s about 20 minutes ago. They are probably the most comfortable golf shoe I've ever put on. I've got my size dialed in so I'm just trying my damnedest to wait patiently until the Infrareds drop.

 

On another note, my Edwin Watts store manager was telling me something about some new chukkas that are going to be released later this year in like 4 different colors that are supposedly under wraps. He said they look like hightop football cleats, and the ones he saw were in a Ducks colorway. Have you heard anything about these, Mula? My first thought was that he was talking about Bandons or something, but he seemed pretty sure about what he was saying.

A few new Chukka colorways are coming 7/1. Not sure if this is what he was talking about.

I don't think so because he was claiming it looked completely different than the current chukkas, and he said it was under wraps. He'd know that those new colors are in the current catalog I'd imagine. Who knows, could be talking out his a**.

They fit true to size for me. I have wide feet and fit into a 10.5M perfectly, which is what I wear in chukkas and TW15. I actually managed to put on a 10 and it was clearly too small, but not terribly tight.

Finally got a round in wearing the Premieres... these things are the most comfortable golf shoe I've ever worn on course... no exceptions... (have yet to wear my AM90s, so interested in that comparison...

 

If you can find those at a discount... go get 'em...!!! you won't regret it. sock was a non issue other than inserting foot, and if sized correctly shouldn't be too big an issue.

Yep, sock liner not a big deal, and once your foot slides in, just feels like your feet are meant to be there.

 

Nike did really well with this shoe.
