Nike footwear 2016

These were waiting for me when I got home from work. Heading out to league and am going to give them a 9 to break them in. First thoughts, for $100 they are very much worth it and look awesome. We'll see how comfortable they are but just trying them on for size they seem like a solid shoe.

 

Helps when you actually attach the pic instead of describing an invisible shoe

 

They look better in your pic than on NDC. Let us know how they work out. They're hot looking. Might have to grab a pair.

 

Alright so my impressions after 9 holes:

They are pretty comfortable, not Free sole comfortable but what you would expect from a structured sole shoe. The lunarlon really helps here as I find structured sole shoes not my cup of tea for golf.

 

Grip is fine for the sole and spikes, pretty normal here and I didn't slip at all, even with damp grass from rain the past few days.

 

The little bit of mud and such that was on the shoe after the round was easily wiped off with a wet paper towel and they clean up real nice. Gotta be the synthetic leather that helps there.

 

Here is my only complaint and I think this is just with the structured shoes in general but where the toe of the upper meets the sole, especially in the back foot where you roll over could get torn and beat up really quick. The TW all have the roll up of the sole with the small nubs that protect this area when following through and "squishing the bug" if you will. These don't have it so I think they would have the tendency to get beat up quickly but only time will tell.

 

Overall, for $100 they are a great value. They won't be my go to shoe for every round, but they will make great outing/scramble/special occasion shoes. Oh and not to mention, they are very definitely conversation starters with the faux snake skin print and just brightness. Everyone in my league had a comment on them, good and bad, but mostly they liked the look, not so much the color. I'll welcome a white or black or anything else they have up their sleeves.

The catalog has been posted a few time including the new LC4 colorways. The Parsons Kellog footwear catalogs are pretty easy to find on Google. There's an all Volt/Black Swoosh/Photo Blue spike and a Wolf Gray/Black Swoosh/Volt Spike LC4 slated for 7/1 release.

 

EDIT: Here you go. The Flyknit elites have 3 colorways scheduled, two on 7/1: PURE PLATINUM/COOL GREY/VOLT/BLACK and BLACK/CLEAR JADE/GLACIER BLUE/WHITE. PINK BLAST/VOLT/WHITE/BLACK is marked as an 8/5 release. There are no pictures in the catalog.

I'm sure the low will come out looking very interesting. Pink Blast mixed with Volt should be nice. I'm guessing the flywire and inside of the ankle will be white and it will have a black swoosh.

I just found these online looking around. TW mesh limited edition. look similar to the Lunar Wavery LE. All black with gray. anyone else know about these or did I just miss an old post about them. I dont think i will get them because the summers in the Coachellla Valley are hot!!!!! They look nice and are at a discounted price.

I got home from my trip today, big Nike package waiting with Lunar Bandon 3's, and the new Zoom Attack.

 

Bandon's are sweet fit perfect.

 

 

What in the hell is going on with the Zoom Attack? Why is the shoe (in the same size as my other Nike's) like 1 1/2" too long. Seriously, WTF is this? These are nowhere near anything Nike as far as sizing, what a damn joke.

 

Yuck, seems cheap, can't get them returned fast enough. This is a $175 shoe. you have got to be kidding me. I would pay $350 for a pair of Premiere's before I would pay $175 for this. I am insulted and only paid $132.

Wow dude that sucks. That's too bad, I was really considering getting some. I love Nike but some of their sizing inconsistency bothers me. I've dealt with enough of it this season that I'm planning on buying a 10 and a 10.5 of the infrareds and just sending one back.

 

I used to wear a 10W Explorer SL. I've tried a 10.5, 10, 10W, and even a 9.5 Wide and can't get an LC4 that I would say fits well. The 10W was probably the closest to being reasonable without being too long in the toe (still had like an extra inch), and I still had heel slippage. Not to mention Wides are left out with most colorways. I tried the Premiere which I desperately wanted to wear as it's a fantastic shoe, 3 different sizes and no dice. I either couldn't get my foot in the sock or there was too much play in the shoe.

 

Yet I pick up the TW 15 in a 10.5M and it fits well, although a bit tight and requires breaking in. Now the multicolor chukkas I grabbed on the other hand...10.5M and they fit PERFECTLY. Best fitting Nike shoe I've found for me. Really too bad about the Zoom Attacks...they were growing on me.

I mean, it is not a piece of garbage, just no up to my expectations for a shoe with that price, and a goofy a** fit. I would have to go down a full size, or size and a half, but no way they would be wide enough at that point. The width is fine now in the "wide", but fits like a clown shoe.

 

The Bandon's feel like they were molded from my foot, freakin crazy. I heard about zipper issues, will see with time, but they are not "tight" zipping up.
