Finally busted out the LF1's for a round this morning, was a bit leery, 6am tee time, awfully wet grass.

Money, these shoes are amazing, and even more comfy that the Premiere's ( yeah, I know soft spikes). No slippage, no wet feet, super comfy, and the white is just killer. I can see a second pair of these....

I'm actually using mine for the first time tomorrow...been drooling over these for a while now. Probably will get the black/white pair also.

I'm not a big shoe guy at all, but I have to have a pair of those. I'll wear them off the course, even. Just so clean looking.

Am 90 are awesome but they get dirty quick. I have used protectant and everything but that white mesh just holds dirt apparently. Love the shoes but probably sending the teal ones back for that reason.

Walked about 13 holes so far. You can see the dirt where my toes start, on the sides.

Sprayed repellent in the morning. Hopefully stains go away when I clean them.

Dang Les - not sure about that material they use in the forefoot.. your black ones didn't hold up well and the whites look really dirty. Were you able to get the dirt off or did it go further into the material?

I am pretty bummed about it honestly. Who wants to clean shoes after every round lol

Anybody gotten any of the teal chukkas? Trying to decide between those and blue.

Aftermath of walking 18. You can see the dirt in the toes. Only cleaned with wet wipes.

Don't want to wash them. If I want clean them well, I'll use my Jason Markk. But looks like the dirt is stuck in the mesh.

I think I will wear them a few more times before I clean them thoroughly, I expect the dirt on a white shoe and white mesh toe box area.

But hopefully when I deep clean it goes away, just cleaned with wet wipes after my round, the stains stayed.

I might send my Infrareds back after seeing this. They cost too much for them to get so easily dirty so fast after one round.

Yeah, the dirt easily gets stuck in the toe box mesh. But the shoes look so damn nice to return/not wear again.

Going to walk 18 today in the Infrareds and I also expect them to get pretty dirty. I put two coats of repellent on them, and I always wipe down my shoes after a round, but I expect them to look pretty bad after a few more rounds.

I never tried it, but I think i'll try the baking soda/water/peroxide method of cleaning them for a super deep clean.

I live in CA and played in the afternoon. It never rains. Haha.

Course was dry, just a tad windy.

This. Mine are a little dirty but definitely not bad. I just use the Jason Markk cleaner after every round. Having said that this is another reason why I love my TW 13s so much. After years of playing in them they still look great.

Venting a little here, but as a swoosh addict every since they entered golf, the last few years for me we're 'throwback' purchases ONLY as I would not touch anything 'new' they were producing. The early stuff Rory was wearing LITERALLY made me feel embarrassed for him, in spite of his $100 mil of course :swoon: Those funky early Lunars with the awful gnarly coloring on the gangly soles and the swoosh pulled too far to the rear was totally unsightly IMO. And as soon as TW's went to the 'running shoe' fad it was OVER for me. Just sad and sick compared to the old school Zoom versions, and unfortunately if the leaks are what they seem to be, the I STILL won't be touching anything TW anytime soon as that whole STRAP experiment will be a TOTAL FAIL for me. And not to rude, but I also have zero appreciation for the 90's, and wouldn't be happy with that kind of performance from an expensive shoe. It's pretty sad Nike is still making these kinds of silly mistakes on high end shoes. Sure, if pay $60 bucks for a cheap Explorer or similar I get it, but these $200 shoes having failures like this is just bad business IMO.

For anyone wondering though, the Chukkas are LIGHTS OUT compared to these 90's as far as look/feel when wearing, durability and performance, so far anyway. I've got three more colorways coming of the Chukkas because they are simply superior in every way to any other NG shoes I own.

Perhaps those concerned about Nike merchandise being 'leaked' would be better served directing their energies towards convincing Nike that creating poor performing products like the 90's is what 'hurts sales and the brand', not leaks.

If you build it......WELL and better than anyone else, they WILL come :taunt:

I've got the Zoom Attacks, Lunar Fires AND Chukkas, all of which are easy to clean and seem like they can take a beating and keep coming back like champions. For anyone who's thinking of one of these models, I highly recommend all three.

As far as 90's and Elites go, you couldn't pay me to wear those things, poor design and just ugly styling IMO. However, if things roll out in '17 as the 'leaks' indicate, I think the Elites could end up being a possibility if they solved that ridiculous sock failure, and moving the swoosh back to the side on what appears to be the new LC5's would FINALLY make them a possibility for me, as the current version 'toe swoosh' is a big miss for my taste.

All in all, though several of the supposedly 'high end' shoes are major failures for me, I'm proud of Nike for remembering where it came from by diversifying and returning to its roots with models like the Attack and Fire, and for the progressive look and styling genius that is the Chukkas, a shoe I'd never thought would be so impressive and multi-functional.

Finally, after several years of hiatus, I'm back to actually buying 'new' Nike models again, which is a huge step in the right direction for the swoosh, since I'm always looking for an excuse to give them my money. Unfortunately, I STILL cannot get myself to buy ANY kind of Nike shirts, as the whole loose sleeve and hanging body shirts seemingly made to fit people of 5 different size levels will NEVER work for me. Like Rory, I like to have my shirts 'form fitted' and want sleeves tight and the body tapered to a custom feel, I don't know, kind of like the ENTIRE clothes world has shifted to with the 'fitted' boom. Have YET to ever find a Nike shirt that fits 'tight' but gives and stretches as needed. So, I'm typically suited up with swoosh clubs, shorts/pants and shoes head to toe, but the shirt is almost always a collard Claiborne or other more modern fit type of brand that doesn't try to make me either by three sizes too small or wear a shirt that cold double as a parachute. I cringe every time I see Rory's and other NA sleeves just flopping in the wind. Pathetic.

Hopefully, the same peeps who are 'fixing' some of the styling issues that Nike Golf has struggled with over the last few years (oddly coincidental with Tigers swing mess) will address the lack of 'modern fit' clothing that has forced my $$'s to be spent elsewhere. I mean really, Nike has to work VERY HARD to force me so buy another brand, but the last 3-5 years they have been MATERS at it unfortunately.

It's good to be home again :superman:

Man kinda bummed.... After a LONG range session at the OVEN today (posted about in NIKE 2016 thread) I have noticed that I think my AM90's in black are doing the same as Lesmonds.....

Will get pics tomorrow to tired tonight. But it looks like they are and I bought them from a member on here and when I got them they were literally brand new no wear showing. But I have already put a round walking and 3 range sessions on them not and it appears to be doing the same.

Am I just going to have to deal with it since I am not the original purchaser of the shoes? Or can they be sent back to NIKE by me?

I love these shoes and it sucks this is happening.
