[/quote]The new adjustable drivers change the face angle when you add loft so the 8.5 head set to 9.5 isn't the same as the 9.5 head at neutral, probable just fits hime better. At least this is my understanding of the new adjustable drivers.

His bag seems to match his golf game, nothing too flashy, just solid, dependable clubs that will do the job you ask them. Is that still an old Titleist PT headcover that he is rocking on his 3 wood? Kind of a shame that it's on top of a TM 3 wood but hey, we can't be perfect haha. Pretty sure that Jimmy had a 915 3 wood of some description before now, what has he changed from?

What makes you say it's retail? TaylorMade doesn't use Txxx serials any longer to identify tour clubs. The shaft has the tour adapter, so it was almost certainly built by their Tour staff.

Both retail M1 and retail AeroBurner TP have double serial numbers. As far as I know, it doesn't mean anything. I have a couple of tour issue AeroBurner fairways with double serials, as well.

Since Walker is a legitimate PGA tour player, wouldn't that technically be a tour issued head even if it were off the rack (retail)?

Here's an interesting Jimmy Walker story...

I used to work part time for an astronomy magazine. A few years ago, when Jimmy was on a meteoric rise and it was clear he was going to win very soon, I suggested to the magazine's editor that he'd be a good story (Jimmy is one of the top astrophotographers in the world).

I reached out to Jimmy via Twitter, he contacted me but for whatever reason the interview didn't take place. I couldn't blame him -- scheduling, other media to do, etc. IMO you can never fault someone for declining an interview.

Many months later I was relating the story to a corworker who suggested perhaps I was duped and the person who responded to me wasn't actually Jimmy.

Hmmm...that could be true.

So I did a Google search of the email address. Yep, it was really him.

One link that Google showed caught my eye though. It was a PGA tournament info website that showed personal info for every player in the field that week-- email, phone numbers, family names, what hotel they were staying at, caddy name and their contact info.

Obviously the website hadn't been password protected for some reason.

I quickly sent an email to Jimmy and he contacted somebody who password protected the site very quickly.

He jokingly told me I should have just sent him a text. No way...talk about a breach of privacy. Lol.
