I let Zak know yesterday that I won't be joining you guys.

 

My wife is going in for a small procedure today. She knew I had this "golf thing" set up and told me I could go. She is going to be on bed rest for a few days and not eating solid foods. She puts up with a lot of my stuff so I just couldn't leave her for two days this weekend.

 

We just found out yesterday that the procedure wouldn't happen until late afternoon. I couldn't see myself dumping my wife off at home and then high tailing it to Ypsilanti. Her birthday is also on Sunday!

 

So I wish you all safe travels, good health and good luck. Wish I could be there. Hit em well.

Almost had a near disaster this morning at the hotel. I hit the pillow hard last night and forgot to set any type of alarm, woke up at 6 and everyone was gone! Lol scooped a cab and rushed to DTW. Security was a nightmare and then to top it off I get pulled aside by TSA security because of the ABSURD amount of golf balls in my carry on (Only terrorists play Callaway...hahaha) After they too malady my entire strategically packed bag and I put it all back together I made it to the gate with a couple minutes to spare!

 

Fun Stuff! Made it home to South Carolina a couple hours ago. Like I said to a bunch of you if any of you guys ever head to Myrtle Beach or Pinehurst or somewhere down here get in touch with me!

Last count, you were gonna sleep later and not roll out with the early birds ... Hahaha

 

I had a 6:58 flight, arrived at 6:00 along with Louie and Jim

 

Ended up being busier than expected, but no issues

Got to love the Airport security. I have enough problems due to some meds I have to carry so glad I didn't indulge in the golf balls as well - although after all the wonderful swag we got, I really didn't have much room anyways.

 

Maybe we can get Zak to throw some in with the drivers when they get sent back ;-)

 

Thanks for the pics Rich - that's very helpful. I have to admit, so much was going on in such a short time, the mind was getting a bit numb at times. Both the mind and body got beat up but man was it worth it and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Of course it couldn't just be a sign of getting old :-).
