Wonder if any of the original gift costs are returned when gender reassignment takes place if the gifts were gender specific? I guess that's where gift cards come in so handily. They can be used for anything.

Seen some good ones on line. A man had a bag hanging up on a tree, he was supposed to hit it and break it then pink confetti spilled out to announce DW is having a girl. He swung his baseball bat, let go, missed the bag and downed his wife.

LOL I am so far in the dark ages as far as the ways of the world I did not know they could tell what gender a baby was before it was born. My wife educated me on that when she explained what a gender revel party is. I guess I am in my own little world and you Sixty know what my little world consists of besides my wife and little dog and of course my antique rusty golf clubs. Yeah gift cards are the way to go that way you do not have to walk around the store hunt something and put up with people

We were at the neighbors for supper on the weekend.  Stan is an interesting dude as he is a moonlighting musician in his retirement.  Had a couple of regular gigs at a couple of local spots before the lockdown happened.  Since then, he has done a recording and posted on Instagram every day since; a different song.

 

After supper he pulled out his song book and started to play.  There's got to be 300 songs in loose leaf and he knows them all!  Everything from 50's to current stuff; from country and folk to pop rock.  He does requests and if he doesn't know a song, he will learn for his next show.  Not a bad way to get folks to come back .  He's a guitar aficionado with several in rotation including a Gibson Les Paul Tribute.  His favourite he calls his humming bird guitar, also a Gibson, with etchings of humming birds and flowers on the finger board.

 

He's an immaculate picker with a gravely voice from years of singing that gets stretched playing a lot of popular tunes that were originally recorded in higher keys.  I was singing along with him in true campfire sing-along fashion, but boy was that a workout after not having sung a note in months.  We looked at each other and laughed at how rough we sounded trying to tackle Nights are Forever without You by England Dan and John Ford Coley.  I still think the worst one was Run to You by Brian Adams which was originally recorded in E. ?

They have a fairly extensive vegetable garden with peppers and tomatoes and herbs as the main plants, much the same as we have so we were comparing notes.  He had some funky peppers there both sweet and spicy.  Joanne handed me this little yellow guy to try and warned me that it was hot.  It may have been about 2" long and came to a pointed end.  Mucho caliente en fuego!  It hung with you for quite a while and that was just a nibble!  She didn't know the name, so I tried looking it up on line.  About the closest I got from appearance was a Bhut Jolokai.  According to the Scoville scale those are right up there with Ghost peppers or Trinidad Scorpions which seems a bit over the top, so I'm thinking it might be something else.  Perhaps one of the local pepper experts can offer up alternatives?

Shot an amazingly enjoyable 43, irons only ! Thursday is the day i can do the driver as long as i don't get stupid by

trying to swing too hard. Half speed only for a while( two weeks,i hope).  temperatures are going to get back to seasonal

normals starting friday. 

I do not think i will get into the "gender reveal" conversation, 'cause i am worse than Stu....i thought it would be "closet exiting" announcements .

Hope you guys get out and enjoy the next six weeks or so.

Bhut Jolokia and ghost pepper are one and the same. A nibble would certainly cause a high level of oral distress, lol.

I started some growing in a container out back but none are ready to be picked just yet. They look lime green to my

eye and have a bumpy texture. I'll pick some green and let some mature to red before I pick them.

 

As Fella pointed out earlier; these really really hot peppers are good for spicing up dishes but not good to be eaten

alone as they are just too powerful and overwhelm the oral receptors.

The shape seems about right, but the one I had was yellow, not red.  Must be something a bit different.

Played 9 yesterday...made four birdies and shot a 32. I started getting dizzy around the 7th hole, was able to fight through it, but after 9 I had to pack it in. Would have been nice to see how I did on the back 9. It was very humid, and when that happens my blood pressure drops. 

 

ps: the cardiologist says I am his only patient he wants to see eat a bit more salt, lol.

this was a utube thing not long ago, the challenge was to see how patient and honest the children were, some failed miserably.

When I tried to open WRX this morning I was locked out for around four hours, a note came up this site is unavailable. More teething problems.
