National Golfwrx Tournament

It would be pretty awesome to have a Golfwrx Tournament with state qualifiers to crown the best of the best and state winners can have bragging rights!

We have a course here in the Richmond. VA area that can be stretched out to 8,000 yards. That may almost be long enough.

Hazeltine stretches to 8000. It was sorta boring going driver wedge when Wrx member Rebby and I played it, but it was fun to see the ryder cup fellas struggle all day ;) haha jk.

I can host one of the qualifiers at my course in Maryland in January and get everyone a really good rate.

 

On serious note, if this were to ever try and become a reality, I'd be happy to help coordinate something in this area.

Organizing 25-30 guys for our AZ outings is a giant PITA, that is even after putting on 4-5 of these things and knowing how to do it. Organizing an entire country outing with lodging and travel

Why not a WRX Conference? I have a conference for everything else. Seems I'm always flying to Orlando, Chicago, NYC or Las Vegas for a conference. Wouldn't be bad just to make it a 4-5 day conference with a national tournament, talks and presentations in the mornings and afternoons. Maybe our own demo days and mixer parties.
