I used to surf the web for all golf related questions. Equipment, instruction. Most of the good stuff lead me here. One stop shopping. Love it.

In the 90's and early 2000's I was always trying to find more and more information on golf clubs and what pro's were playing and why they were playing them. I was already a club hoe, trying out the influx of products that started in the 2000's. Finding this site was finding other people like me. People that want to know more information and want to learn. That's something that isn't always common. I've learned so much and try and help out and share any knowledge I might have. Whenever I do a google search on something golf related, most of the time the search ends in site:golfwrx.com so I can bleed the forums dry of all the information I can get.

 

The site has everything you could want in regards to golf. I learned how to build clubs, take them apart, sand them, torch them, black oxide them, and hot melt them all from this site. Information that was only available to a very select few in the world is there for the masses. That's just an incredibly cool thing.

 

Whether it's spending a Sunday watching the tournament forum, or waiting on a Monday for that new post about some crazy new tour issue club, the site is always fresh and new. It's amazing that it still has that feel after 10+ years.

GolfWRX has the most up to date data on clubs, they also have great photos of what tour guys are out playing. BST is also something not many sites do well, but GolfWRX does it GREAT!!!

I have PTSD, severe anxiety, and Aspergers. Golf was my only outlet. I couldn't get enought of golf. So I got online and eventually found this forum GolfWRX.

 

Between GolfWRX, playing this great game and my loving family and the good Lord above, my life has changed. I get online when I'm not mentally feeling well. Something about reading and interacting with the folks here is great and is calming to me.

I love this site. I needed a new way to remove thousands of dollars from my bank account each and every year. Fortunately there are many like minded people here to help with that through deals and classifieds.

 

Thanks to this site I have gained the knowledge that tour issue clubs with XXX shafts lower my handicap 10 strokes and help me hit the ball 400 yards while producing negative spin. I also found out the only way to make a putt is with a one off fully customized tour only putter made of unobtainium.

 

In all seriousness, this is a great site that provides resources, knowledge, and entertainment. Thanks for providing a great place to get together and talk about our passions.

I am an avid GolfWrxer and visit multiple times daily to gain and share knowledge, for the stories, for the BST. To have a community that shares the same passion that I do, to the same extreme is truly something special. I have met some fantastic people through GolfWrx and look forward to meeting many more. I usually frequent the club techs or equipment forums and I can always find what I am looking for. This is the best online golf community there is. What is not to like?
