There really is no other (single) place to obtain information on equipment, players, rules, and instructions. I still remember going into a mom & pop golf store where they hung "what's in the bag" pictures on the wall of tour winners. I saw the GolfWRX link on one and went back to the office and signed up.

 

Great site that gets me in hot water from time to time for using the BST link :)

GolfWRX is where I go to stay up to date with the latest news, PGA updates and the PGA equipment WITB's. Without this site, I would still believe that R and S flex are the only two options available when buying clubs in the store.

1) So I can hear Richard tell stories.

 

2) My local golf shops see me as a constant tinkerer and I get to be with a bunch of other tinkerers. I'm a member of the junkie community. Sure we have some squabbles, but most everyone here is fun to talk to.

Also, the management seems to care about the membership and does respond to suggestions. Other websites that I frequent don't accomplish this trait.

GolfWRX is great place to buy second hand equipment. Almost half my current bag and most of two other bag has been entirely stocked from BST. Also, I love finding cheapskates like myself.

Also, I have learned so much about the custom fitting process and how a person is truly fitted. Thanks for Tom Wishon and others for commenting on the fitting process.

I love golf, and you bring a community of people just like me to a common ground where we can share our passion. Lucky to have stumbled on this site in grade 8, I recently graduated University and have been an advocate of this forum the entire time.
