My family is a 'golf family' - my grandfather had a shop that he used to build clubs in. For years he was the local 'go-to' guy. I still remember him showing me how to put the 'whipping' on persimmon woods that he was building, how to change a grip, how to remove a broken shaft. WRX gives me some of that again, with so much discussion about the specs of the clubs and all of different options out there. Just enjoy reading and talking about golf and golf equipment, and this is the perfect place for it!

I like golfwrx because it brings people together who love this game. People from all over the world can discuss golf in a friendly setting. People from diverse backgrounds, different income levels, skill levels, races, cultures all gather to discuss what we have in common which is this great game! This is honestly my most visited website, great forum, unbiased reviews, in depth WITB and superior instruction. My knowledge of equipment has increased ten fold since joining a few years ago.

Its a great community for golf nuts alike, who live and breath golf. There is sections for every interest (equipment, PGA tour talk, club building). Its just a great site that is fueled by the fans for some great heated discussions.

 

It has made me buy more golf equipment then I need to, but hey its fun to try all the different equipment out there and provide feedback for others.
