Bought one last summer and absolutely loved it, so I went back to Dicks and bought another to keep in my bag for whenever I wore through it... Needless to say I went through the entire summer and am still using that same glove so far this season, most durable glove I have ever used, nice and tacky, super comfortable, good ventilation, and doesn't get hard and crinkly from water or sweat like other gloves I have used in the past.

FJ Pure Touch.

Not the cheapest, but they last well and are an even better fit and feel than the StaSof. Bought as a five-pack they weren't that much dearer than the StaSof.

Just bought my first stasof, I must say I am impressed (not with the $18 price tag though). I've only used it with practice swings, but I plan on hitting the range today so I'll test it out.

Spider 2 is the way to go then? I live near Dallas so was using SciFlex during hto summer months where have to rotate gloves between holes. I'll have to check them out, if you think they'll last. The Sci Flex are nice, but do stretch out before they wear out.

During non-summer I usually play Cally Tour Auth, but kind of starting to like the Srixon Cabretta when they're on sale, and retail is like $16. After a few rounds, it would get 'slick', but still get about 3-4 rounds out of one. The Cally TA fit nice, and last as long as any.

I tried some Adidas, TM, Bionic (those last forever), and they were OK, haven't tried a StaSof in years, as when lived in Chicago they'd not hold up well in summer, so found alternatives.

I'll be looking for Spider 2 then, as I remember the original was pretty good, as were the original SciFlex, so if v2 is better as is with SF, then maybe found a new glove....or I'll just have to buy more.

Always used Footjoy, not exactly sure why. I guess it's because I started with that, enjoyed it, and never really looked anywhere else.

I bought a Hirzl Trust Feel and can honestly say there is not a glove on the market that can compete. The glove gets tackier when wet and can be washed in the washing machine without drying out.

The glove is $24.99, but after two rounds and over 500 range balls the glove is just like the day I bought it. They even have a machine washable cabretta if you prefer leather over kangaroo.

Anyone try a hirzl all weather glove? Picked one up the other day, pricey at $25 but gives great grip dry or wet. Guy at the golf shop poured water on it from a bottle and had me grip a club, absolutely no slip. Dry it's almost tacky. I feel like I barely have to hold on to the club. Have to see how long it will hold up.

Been using these for years now and they're the best fitting gloves for me (got tiny fingers and need the spandex inserts at the side of the fingers. ladies gloves usually are too short)

Second best is the TaylorMade targa for me, but the nike gloves simply last longer and are cheaper

I picked up a discontinued 2-for-price-one Srixon Hi-Brid glove at local store and I am now currently searching for more on the internet to stock up on. They were amazingly durable with a full Cabretta on grip side of glove that looked grid-like (sort of same look as the Spyder2). Great grip and held up through ton of range time and some rounds in 90 degree heat. Got them for $12 for two. Nothing else I've tried comes close in all-around performance. Will try the Spyder2 though soon as it looks similar.

Try rain gloves when it gets above 90 degrees. My friends use these but I still use about 3 to 4 gloves(FJ STASOF)and rotate them. I heard that the Spider works better in warmer weather as well. Must give that a try soon. I am getting tired of switching gloves but that is policy in high humidty and warm weather state like TN. I tried getting a new glove mid round on my hand but that was almost imposible due to the high temps and humidity which equals sweat. It went back in the bag for a cooler day(maybe OCT).
