The feel of the ball is my first priority followed by spin (or reduction of spin) off driver but maintaining decent spin off irons and shorter shots. The MTB helped with the pricing problem we are having right now with premium golf balls. Getting out of control at $48-$50/dozen.

What I look for in a ball is total value. What I mean by that is the ball has to perform on all shots (spin near the green, low spin off the driver, one hop and stop off of full iron shots), provide good distance, feel good (not too soft, not too hard) on all shots, and not cost an arm and a leg.

Price is definitely a factor for me, should be a good urethane ball designed for slow swing speeds in the mid 90's.

Color is another factor for me, I will buy the yellow or orange over white if available.
