What matters most to me is performance = overall ball combination of feel, greenside spin, distance with irons and driver and ball consistency in the wind - Obviously many of us feel this way. A ball cant give up much in any category to the field but the one that matters most is the one that affects scoring most to me - greenside spin

To me, it's all about performance.

 

A few months back, drewtaylor21 and I did a ball test (http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/1427294-ksig-vs-snell-mtb-vs-prov1x-vs-b330-vs-srixon-z-starxv/page__hl__%20drewtaylor21)between five top balls to see which performed best for us. The data was eye opening because as it turns out, my gamer ball (B330) performed the worst for me and the ball I really disliked from a previous experience (Snell MTB) turned out to perform the best for me. Needless to say, I now play the Snell MTB due to its performance in virtually all areas.

 

I'll keep my fingers crossed in hopes I win and don't have to worry about getting balls for a nice long while, although I wouldn't mind some new TP5x balls!

Most important to me is not too much spin off the tee, but good green side control of the ball. Cover durability is important as well.

All signed up. The most important aspect to me is for the the golf ball to be soft with low spin off the driver. I can get used to how a ball reacts on the green and adjust but really need the low spin off the driver to keep it long and in play.

The two things that matter to me most in a ball are feel and spin. And by spin, I mean being able to control the spin of a certain shot easily, without worry that a certain ball might be "too spinny" or "too low spin" that I only end up with one result even if I try different shots. Current ball is Chrome Soft

1. Price. I'm a baller on a budget so balls that cost $4-$5 a ball are the ones I don't even bother with (unless they're on sale).

2. I like a ball that is lower spinning with the driver but with controllable spin near/around the green.

3. Not too soft but not too firm either. I've always enjoyed the feel of the B330.

4. Last but not least, the ball needs to be durable. Again, being a baller on a budget requires me to use a ball for atleast a couple rounds unless of course it's lost in the woods. lol
