Who the hell wants that? Hello? Is there anyone at that company with a brain?

I agree - I've never heard anyone say they were looking for that kind of colour scheme. And plenty of people can't stand it!

I got excited this morning when the email showed up... and then totally disappointed when it was just a new color scheme release.

First off the finish is just a flat black or satin. I think the finish looks awesome aside from a couple that have wear marks on hem. The slant neck is a LONG time comming. But you guys are right its based off the huge demand the Spinder Slant has generated. Not to mention there is 20+ guys on Tour playing the Spider. Plus many of them were Ody players and went to the dark side Tmag.

 

Ody smarten and make these available just as Tmag made the Spider available! Dumb not to....

I think they do OK. What we want on WRX is not necessarily what the average Joe wants. I bet 80% of golfers don't know what a flow neck is, so maybe pump the brakes on "no one at Odyssey has a brain".

 

Not every putter/line is going to please everyone. Get over yourself.

Ok, is it me, or does it look like some of these actually were painted black? I have been pretty disappointed with Odyssey's recent releases. While the face may produce results, the putters look terrible. But, to each their own I guess.

 

Look at the weight in this pic. Either the lighting is playing with my eyes or some of the lines are actually painted over?

Love flow necks..wish I had waited on my works #1wide order.

Most on here love the spider because we finally get a flow neck mallet but the spider is a really stable/well balanced putter. I have a #7 that I game from time to time and my strokes feel much more stable with the spider than the #7. Same with the 2-ball or other mallets that I've tried.

 

Is still hope odyssey releases the flow neck mallets and get rid of the awful versa color scheme but my guess the majority of golfers are attracted to the spider because of how well balanced the head feels and the tour play it gets.
