Got one of those Big-LB's in right handed - nice driver !

 

Over-sized head compared to normal persimmon, but still the classic shape and beautifully finished. Mine has the original Honma graphite shaft in flex S-2, and the original grip, which I guess is sized for the Japanese market as it is pretty thin.

 

The UK Honma rep is a guy attached to my golf club, and next time he has a demo day for all the modern stuff they sell, I'm going to go along with this beauty as I bet he's never seen one before :)

Very cool, one of my very first drivers was a Honma persimmon, which I actually hung on to for a long time before switching to a TM Burner.

Yes, I had to ream the hosel slightly to accept the .335 shaft

And that sounds pretty good to me ! Shaft length and head size are probably very comparable to a modern 3-wood after all :)
