I'm not sure why you'd be annoyed at speith for this. Yeah it took awhile, but there was a lot of things going on there. Once he finally got a legal drop, the shot was quick. He took his best option and it saved him a stroke at least.

Can't recall ever seeing someone who so consistently gets away with hitting the ball like garbage. As bad as this hole was, #6 was even worse.

 

 

Yea but what your seeing is like garbage because of tee ball. But in reality he hit a good 2nd and a great 3rd and then the putt. So only 1 in 5 shots that hole were bad. Not near as much garbage as people focus on.

 

Not just that tee ball. I've lost count of how many duck hooks he's hit in the last two days, and how many people he's plunked leaving him a perfect lie where the gallery's been walking. Hit a driver 235 and dead left yesterday that was so bad it was 40 yards short of where the trouble that's supposed to catch bad shots is. Cold topped a 3 wood that runs up to 20' for eagle. Or #6 today. Kuch hits a good drive that runs 5' through the fairway into a terrible lie, then hits a good second into a bunker. Jordan is 40 yards off line, perfect lie, hits a second that bounces through the same bunker like it isn't even there.
