Miserable last round for Nelly - a shame after 3 good rounds. Not nice to see a collapse like that.

 

Really good result for IK Kim - she was on fire. Totally played herself into a solid win.

 

Good to see Lexi right up there again too.

Fortunately it's actually growing in popularity in some places. And because of that, if you are willing to seek out illicit streams (and overcome language barriers), you can enjoy live coverage of most events.

Nobody ever picks IK Kim to win anything but here she is just the second multiple winner this year. She has looked so freakin calm and collected in her two wins. She took on a bunch of the LPGA's very best (and longest) today and crushed them all. Impressive!

Why didn't someone tell the rookie Korda to use some anti frizz on her hair before filming the "marquee pairing" segment? Is that some sort of hazing in the LPGA? Also, what does she mean when she says she has a lion on her back? Some tattoo?

 

Seriously though, IK's play was superb! That 28 in the front must have made Nelly have some more anxiety to post good scores.

 

I agree that the poster jinxed Gerina . Does she not have any other color shirt? She made me think of that Simpsons episode when Marge had that nice pink dress, but kept on altering it to fit in.

BTW, did anybody notice Sung Hyun playing TaylorMade clubs? She was playing Ping last year. Doesn't she know that changing clubs is bad for your game? Oh, wait. She has also changed caddies several times this season. Why doesn't that have its own thread?

So this might be worth it's own thread, but I'll ask it here: do you really believe "it's just a matter of time" before Gerina Piller wins?

 

I'd love to see her win, but I'm not sure I'd bet on it. She's in her 30's and each year the LPGA fields get stronger and winning is hard. I just don't believe that cliche.

 

Unfortunately I think the only way Gerina is going to get a win is to "catch lightening in a bottle" on a Sunday. Start a few back, not really being considered a factor, and then shoot something like 63 or 64 while no one above her goes really low.
