Some plays I like today

 

Steelers +4 on the road with a lot of Bell touches

Saints -4 to at home as Lions defense is a tad overrated and Stafford not 100%

Chargers + 3.5 as they get a good pass rush on a gimpy Carr all day

I think 11 is too much for my Skins to cover so I will take the 49rs +11

 

Last week I was 0-3

If the the Dolphin offensive line can keep Jay Cutler vertical, it will be a good year for them. The Bears damn near killed him. I hope Trubisky doesn't wind up on his back 12 times a game. That kid has a bright future.

I used to be a huge Cutler fan. But the guy plays with no passion or competitive edge and that kills me. They arent gonna be very good. If they can run the ball then they will win a few games but the AFC East is a cluster this year. Dallas is going to have a long year with Zeke gonna end up missing his 6 games. I really think all 16 games are gonna be needed this year. Dont believe any teams are going to be taking the last week or two off this year.

Watching KC and Raiders tonight. Has been a great game to watch so far. Back and forth with not too many three-and-outs. Smash-mouth football with some big play moments sprinkled in. My vote for game of the year so far. Hoping the 4th quarter brings more of the same.

Well I started making picks two weeks ago . I went 0-3 in week 5. Last week I went 4-0.

Personally I have watched maybe 30-60 combined minutes of NFL coverage this year, the product has been falling off in the last few years. huge gap from top tier teams to bottom tier and very few marquee matchups living up to the hype. As a Niners fan living in AZ there is no way I am paying $300+ a year to watch them win 2-4 games via Sunday Ticket. (also cancelled DirecTv this year). The prime times slots heavily biased to NFC and AFC East(with cause for ratings due to population densities) but these are teams that really give me no interest. AZ is one of the weird NFL markets that only gets 2 day games on most weekends.

Cowboys finally made some second half adjustments or the pass rush just finally got to Cousins. Defense made some plays but also just let up on the redskins last touchdown drive. But a win is a win! Only 2 games behind the unbeatable Eagles.

 

On another note. Watson in 2-3 years might be the face of the league. Had a couple picks but putting up 40 on the legion of boom.

 

Winston is still young but sometimes he just sucks. He has so many weapons outside just can't deliver the ball.

My ten year old son is suddenly obsessed with Football. That's all he talks about now.

 

We both can't believe the Eagles are 7 -1 with the best record in the League. 3 more wins and they are guaranteed a slot in the Playoffs.

Ajayi to the Eagles is nuts. wondering if he'll excel or turn into a DeMarco Murray @ the Eagles? As a Cowboys fan, hope he flops but the Eagles are playing great ball right now.

Blount is a decent RB2 but picking up Ajayi is huge for their offense. As bad as I hate the eagles they just got a lot better.

 

Interesting deal with the Pats trading Jimmy away. They are one snap away from who knows coming in and having to throw because their running game is weak.

 

Rumors are flying about Calvin coming outta retirement to the eagles but with the depth of WR they have I don't see it.

 

Also since you're a fellow Cowboys fan. Would you like to see Bryant in Dallas? I would. He's the deep threat we haven't had since an old TO.

Calvin coming out of retirement is interesting. He was a shell of his former self at the end, probably owing to having to get his knee drained weekly during the season. He's 2 years older now and not at game speed. But, is he worth a mid round pick and could he buy you a win somewhere? Sure, maybe.

 

Staying on the Lions....someone tell me that there's a team actually interested in Eric Ebron. Ian Rapoport reported that over the weekend and I couldn't believe it.
