Europe's pairings are much harder to predict. From what I read, Annika has been crunching numbers from the beginning of this year. If Europe somehow pulled off an upset, there could be a "moneyball" movie out of this. With Jodi Foster as Annika .

Not surprising at all. Juli really sticks her neck out for Paula this time. She is counting on Paula's "Solheim magic" , if you believe in such things.

 

I am surprised that she's sitting future Mrs 4waymiss Michelle, she is arguably the most in form American coming in. Maybe Juli is mindful of her neck injury, the one that forced her to WD from USWO.

Speaking of sticking the neck out, Annika is also doing it for Emily Pedersen and Catriona Matthews, not to the same extend as Juli, as really the only viable alternative is Sandra Gal and Aza Munoz. Neither is particularly in form.

 

I understand the reason behind Emily K is her distance, playing a par 73 course measured over 6800.

Like I stated earlier, Michelle is struggling. Her neck did not seem to bother her but she did seem to get very technical. I think she just needs to play golf and have fun with her parents outside the ropes!!

Or maybe she's tired of Michelle and the Wies' crap! Juli Inkster seems to favor a workmanlike approach while Michelle is once again making this all about herself and her "self expression".
